I froze when I got home. thecrust is sweet but nicely balanced with the sweetness of filling. filling is soft, creamy holds it's shape when defrosted. nice frozen %26 held. mild flavor not much of the taste of classic cheese cake. not much "sourness". hanðy to have on hand serve before completely defrosted as filling càn become unstable. flavor is nice cream.

My husband %26 I agree this is hands down the best store bought cheesecake that we've ever enjoyed. We've passed up buying other cheesecakes at the store because we just know it won't be as good as this one is. Personally, my favorite part is how,I don't know how either, but the bottom of the crust stil has the little crunch to it. Now I want cheesecake!

By George, am going to buy this cheeesecake from now on!! Nice consistency, good flavor and firm the way it should be. For years, have bought the C--tc- brand and the prices go up and up and the oilyness got to the point it was GROSS, not to mention the higher price now for a smaller cheesecake. I was on a mission to find a new cheesecake. This New York Style Full Cheesecake is perfect! Perfect for the budget and slices freeze well wrapped in saran wrap and put into a freezer bag.

Always good, great taste, great texture, just have to make sure you check the expiration date!! Sometimes they will leave them sitting out to where either they expire the next day or sometimes have already expired. As long as it's not expired it's a great product.

Buying commErcial cheesecake can be a hit or miss thing. Ive found most to be tasteless and dry, this wasn't. However, i did add some strawberry preserves. Packaged well, no dents in the sides. i like a baked graham cracke crust on two sides, this just the bottom.

I LOVE New York style cheesecake and I had a piece from the San Marcos Walmart deli a couple weeks ago. It was SOOO creamy and just what I was looking for! So - I decided to try ordering a full size New York Style from the same store for delivery with my regular order. I had to try a piece as soon as possible! This is DEFINITELY NOT the same style of cheesecake and has an almost chalky aftertaste, is much thinner and more like the regular cheesecake you find in stores. I'm pretty disappointed because it was a definite splurge on my VA disability budget. I will either keep looking, or have to try baking my own. The individual slices from the deli are DIVINE, go for those!

1 word: THIN. This cheesecake is something I would NOT purchase again. To THIN, way too much crust with too much "spice" flavor in it and not enough cream cheese flavor. I ended up cutting off the crust and tossing it away. Good news for Walmart! Buying this DID make me purchase a springform pan ..... I am going back to making my own. But, this one for us is a pass.....not a HARD PASS but........a pass.

Cheesecake from Walmart is hit or miss if I'm being honest. I'm not sure if these come frozen or they are actually made in the bakery, but this particular recipe created a strange slimy texture on the top layer of the cheesecake. I'm not too picky about store bought cheesecake but I think I will pass on these moving forward. I originally ordered a variety mix through Walmart Delivery Express on Mothers's Day, and am disappointed my original order was out of stock and I had no choice but to get the plain version, and pay an additional $10 for express delivery. The portions are slightly thinner than expected because most of the family had two pieces after adding some Carmel and whipped cream but everyone noticed the top layer thing. I don't think slimy is the word but the consistency is off. I would pass on this next time and I will be requesting a refund only because of the fact that food is expensive and if they have a bad baker, these reviews may help point out who it is and help train them better.

I love this cheesecake, but it seemed very dry I was serving it to some guests and it was consensus of everybody that appeared to be a bit dry. when everybody left I took a look at the packaging and realized it was an expired date on it. that explains the reason why it was dry The Taste was minimal but overall I love cheesecake and the expiration date was a problem so I I basically threw out the rest of the cake cheesecake. it was about four to five to four or five days over the expiration date.

The only flavor is gummy sugar. It's just sweet, far too sweet, so sweet that generic “sweet” is the only flavor it has. I wouldn't be able to identify it in a blind-folded taste-test. I understand that in the USA we have gobs of sugar added to nearly everything we eat and this is one of those very disappointing items, but wow. Some people may find it acceptable but it's not. This was substituted for the smaller one I'd ordered. Blech. Super waste. It's disgusting. It's not even cheesecake. It looks quite a bit like cheesecake and the texture is about right but the resemblance ends there. Ugh. For those who like this, continue selling it by all means but call it “sweet paste in the form of cheesecake” maybe. Yuck.
