Than packaging is a little flimsy, but the flavor and price can't be beat. Just the right amount of tang, and the right thickness for the sauce.
I love this slaw. Since I bought my first carton, I keep it all the time. What little l throw away, is worth the convenience of having it on hand when I need it. Taste; I think it rivals KFC, and I have always loved theirs. I make a good slaw, but no better than Walmart's. So I certainly recommend it. Give it a try!!
I love this slaw! I see that many other reviewers said it was too runny. I just shake the container to redistribute the dressing. It had to be shipped to the store so the movement surely causes the liquid to settle at the bottom. I love KFC coleslaw, but there isn't any near me. I find this one to be very similar to KFC taste. I gave it 4 stars since I love KFC slaw the best. I buy this slaw all the time and have never bought one near the expiration date. I do look at the dates on my food purchases before i put them in my cart anyway.
So bland I couldn't stand it. It just needed to be doctored up a bit. I added Claussen pickle juice, salt and pepper. Made a world of difference, and now I love it. Try salt and pepper to taste. If that doesnt work for you, try a little pickle juice in a serving to see if that helps.
To put it plainly this cole slaw sucks. Has a dirt taste with a little water and sugar added to it. It should be taken off the shelf. I have never ever in my life tasted such god awful cole slaw. Is it even cabbage you use and if so do you even wash it?
2nd time we've purchased this item and the household got sick even though the item was still before it's expiry date (Nov. 18). You could tell it was bad on the first bite. The slaw had no off-putting smell, but you could see a watery separation between the juice of the slaw itself and a light yellow-tinged liquid. We'll be avoiding this product from here on out.
I just opened this evening the coleslaw I purchased last Saturday (11-13-2021), and found some green color stuff with the coleslaw. What are these green color stuff? I bought this brand of coleslaw here at Walmart.com in the past, but never seen all these green color stuff added with the coleslaw. I will throw the entire container in the trash can, since I'm afraid to eat it. Picture attached with this review.
I, purchased this. Coleslaw for cook-out. Normally I would’ve went to savalot . But pressed for time I brought Walmart brand. Sat it out for serving 3 people tried it. It sat the entire time after tasting it. It was like shredded so tiny that It was as if having mashed baby food. NO ONE WANTED IT!! TOO EMBARRASSING AT COOK-OUT.
Terrible. Runny and awful flavor. Do not buy. I love the market side potato salads but not this. Disappointing.
damaged container leaking all over my frickin refrigerator... not sure if i should even eat this now..
