Freshness Guaranteed Original Macaroni Salad, Ready to Serve, 16 oz Small Tub (Refrigerated)

I go back and forth between the deli regular cole slaw and this regular macaroni salad. I like the plain macaroni salad. I am not sure why they need to put as much mayonnaise as they do in these products, but it is more than I would ever use. Other than that, I like the texture and plain ingredients. I don't notice the salt at all, which is good.

This macaroni salad is so good. I've had products like this from other places and usually end up disappointed as they usually use too much dressing and making it too sweet. Or there ends up being more dressing than pasta, and it ends up being pasta flavored dressing. This one is great. The dressing has enough flavor and sweetness, so nothing is overpowered or overpowering. It works great as a side dish for a sandwich, or on its own if you're looking for a quick dish to pick at while working. I've done this myself, and it works very well. You can also add a little something extra to it if you find the dressing a little sweeter than you prefer. Add some bacon bits or paprika to balance it, or even some red pepper flakes for some spice. If you still find the dressing to be a little much, feel free to throw in some leftover plain pasta you already have so the dressing can disperse a little more. This product is great, and I will be buying it again.

This is a great dish to serve in small quantity. I am happy to have the opportunity to buy this product for the third or fourth time. I enjoy this salad because it definitely fills you up. I have this macaroni salad as a snack, side dish, or entree. The seasoning, onions, and peppers in the macaroni salad is delicious. There is another macaroni salad sold at Walmart with broccoli and cheddar cheese that is equally as good. Enjoy your experience. Thank you.

This macaroni salad has been good every time I purchase. No problems with packaging but I want to say something about the new macaroni dill salad. Anyone can cut up a pickle into macaroni. Terrible salad. I really do miss the Broccoli Macaroni Salad. Please bring this back.

It is okay, but, I fix it up in order to eat it. I add sliced black olives, boiled eggs and sometimes green olives or diced jalapeno, pimento or chopped meat. It makes a good base. But, on it's own it has relatively no taste, and does not resemble a salad. :-)

I find this mac salad to be very bland with none of the "zing" that macaroni salad usually has. Most times, I do not care for store bought potato salad but love the mac salad. This brand is the opposite. Their traditional PS is actually decent and it's the MS that is really devoid of any flavor. It's too bad as the texture and consistency is good along with the price for the size, but what's the point if the taste isn't there?

STOP PUTTING SOUR CREAM IN EVERYTHING. AND SUGAR. Jeez, it's like nobody understands how bland sour cream makes everything. and yeah, we get sugar is addictive but you don't need to add SO MUCH to everything just to keep people coming back. I've bought this twice now and thrown almost all of it away. took it to a bbq and only one scoop was ate. Honestly, so bland.

My mom passed a few years ago and I found myself missing her macaroni salad, so I got some of this. This is NOT my mom's macaroni salad. This is maybe the most bland macaroni salad I think I've ever had. I ate about a third of the tub, was disappointed by how flavorless it was, gave it a tablespoon of spicy mustard and a couple teaspoons of garlic powder, and only then did it seem halfway edible. Absolutely gigantic chunks of celery, too.

This crap was outright disgusting. Im in my late 30s, Ive had plenty of styles and from different places and homemade from different peoples from different places. This was by far the worst ive ever had. I cant even finish the small container. 4 bites into it and it went into the trash. either buy a different style, or spend a the few extra cents on a name brand with better quality.

My recent order of this mac salad was not edible. The mayo or whatever they used to make it tasted old and made me literally sick. I had an upset stomach after eating a 1/4 cup one time. I ended up throwing it away. I have been ordering this for some time now and was really enjoying it ...never again .
