These Freshness Guaranteed Persian cinnamon donuts were soft, moist, and full of cinnamon flavor. They tasted fresh right out of the package and didn’t last long at all. Perfect with coffee or as a sweet treat any time of day. Would definitely buy again.
The first ones I ever bought were absolutely divine. Unfortunately, I have never been able to get more that seemed up to the same standard. They are great in flavor but too dry. 15 secs in the microwave with a pat of butter still makes for a nice snack on a sweet tooth.
I've noticed that there haven't been any good donuts out here in this part of Nevada at all, unlike California. For example , however , these taste , like california doughnuts , they are the best thing that's going on here and I hope they stay around for a while
Of all of the things that Walmart puts their name on, this is the one thing they got right. When fresh, they are like the perfect glazed doughnut with just the right amount of cinnamon.
We love these ! They don't come with chocolate frosting and if I request one girl will go above and beyond to honor my request while the other girls are TOO LAZY, I have been told “not allowed to do it” or other excuses that do NOT make sense ! PS I do keep Great Value Frosting on hand just in case my gal isn't in
We love these Cinnamon Rolls at my house! I’m not sure why the sticker says “Persian Cinnamon Donuts,” they look like Cinnamon Rolls to me! There are six in the box which is good because sometimes most of the ‘Donut Rolls’ ( - : ) will be gone before you pour a cup of coffee and sit down. As I write about them now, I’m craving the white sugar icing on top of the soft sweet cake. Okay, I’ll finish this review later. I’m off to Walmart Bakery now! Highly recommend these, of course!!
I have been alive for parts of 9 decades, and I have eaten donuts in at least 8 of them. I like almost all kinds of donuts, and a few I dearly love. A year or so ago, while visiting our local Walmart, I paid a visit to the “We Over-baked” rack, to see what bargains awaited. A small package caught my attention. It contained 2 pleasant looking rolls with a white glaze on top, and labeled, “Persian Cinnamon...” The rest of the name was covered by the discount price tag. The next morning I ate one with my first cup of coffee, and immediately ate the second. After this happened two or three times, I finally asked myself why I was still messing around with the discount rack. These “Persian Cinnamon Donuts,” as I had learned they were called, were well worth full price, and you got six in a box instead of two. These donuts are absolutely the best I have ever had in my nearly 80 years on the planet. THE BEST!!! They are like a cross between a cinnamon roll and a donut, but whatever you choose to call them, I call them heavenly.
Tasty. Made a breakfast sandwich by cutting in half, toasting the inner sides with a sausage patty, over medium egg, and a slice of pepper jack squashed between the icing sides. Reheated in the air fryer on bake for warm, dripping icing, yummy, too many carbs goodness.
These are great but the shopper always gives me the stuff that’s about to expire the next day or two, even those I instruct in my note to pick the freshest with latest dates. I live alone and I can’t eat 6 donuts in a day or two, or drink a gallon of milk in a day, or eat a whole head of brown-ish lettuce in a day, or 10 overly ripe spotted bananas in a day…. Etc etc. PLEASE GIVE US FRESH FOOD LIKE WE PAY FOR!
They are basically good...IF you can get them. If I order 10 separate times, and they show on the website as in stock, I usually don't get a delivery as I am told next day of delivery that they are out of stock. The website still shows 'in stock' but I guess just not in stock for me. I might get them in my order 1 time out of ten. Maybe the website should be updated more regularly for overall stock availability or possibly the store order for product should be increased to meet demand. Just another sign of our current times.
