the date bye my apples are always bad in a couple days I would really like some really fresh apples not the old ones please thank you:-)
While I'm very grateful I can grocery shop from by phone and just pick it up, I do still expect quality items. I've bought these apples 3 different times and only once have they been fresh enough to last until the "best by" date. Two other times i've received literally brown apples. This is still a service walmart offers %26 it is what i'm paying for..
i just received a delivery and the apple slices are alreay starting to rot
Second time I got bad apples. Expiration date is tomorrow and the smell of sour leaks from the container. Very disappointing considering the price of food. Do better Walmart
Apples were not frest and unedible. Apples appeared to have been opened which led to accelerated aging.
Buyer beware! These 'Freshness Guaranteed' apple slices were expired the day before we placed our order. Walmart does not monitor the cooler to make sure no expired product is being sold. In fact, they seem to make the stockers or department managers front load the expiring product in the hopes that someone buys it without noticing until its too late. I think this gets compounded when the delivery order pickers are just blowing through the store grabbing whatever in front. Perhaps they are even told to take the product with the shortest date first. It could just be lax store operations, or on purpose. Who knows...
Noticed the quality of these getting worse over the last several months. Got one in that was literally all rotten this time from a togo order. We really need to educate our personal shoppers to look for these defects cause it was highly visible from the side.
I received my rotten apples which were very obviously turning dark colors with my home delivery that is so gross . I know the employees have to see this when picking up food of the shelf. I am very unsatisfied with this purchase for my home delivery. If it looks like something you won't eat then why would you expect someone else to be ok with it ??
These apples were rotten even though the date says good until 4/19/24
The last 3 times I have purchased these, they have looked soft and bruised. They barely lasted a day and they were 3-5 days from expectation date. Not edible.
