These have made School lunch packing so easy. My kids love apples but eating a cut apple is faster, especially with the short lunch hour they get now. These are perfect for us, I bag them up and one container lasts a week for us. We have become used to these for lunch and whole apples at home. Works great!
Are these more expensive than slicing apples yourself? Probably (yes in most cases). BUT for someone who sometimes gets small tremors/shaky hands when slicing stuff, I can't complain. Plus I'm lazy. And these are DELICIOUS and oh so moist and just great tasting.
I like the convenience of them already being sliced however, this is about the third time that they've come in slightly Brown soggy and almost out of date. not impressed at this point!
Got home to find best by date of 12/6 which is less than a week after purchase. Apples look old. Unfortunately I don't live close to that store so couldn't return in a timely manner.
Didn't last/stay fresh to daye on package. threw about 1/3 of them out. Disapointhed in freshness guarantee.
The apples we received were rotten
Love apples, and have bought these before. But, these had a taste that wasn't right. Some kind of preservatives or what?
These were not fresh. I opened them the day I received. They were mushy and the ones that weren't had a chemical taste. I threw them all away. What a waste of money. I will not order fruit from Walmart again. I will go to another store. This was the second time I had to throw a large container of apples away.
It seems every time I put these on my pick up order, they are never fresh and already going bad. I love the convenience of pre sliced apples, but I have decided to just purchase fresh, uncut apples instead.
Aoples are soggy and wet. Unfortunately this is the 3rd time. I have now learned its a 50% chance of a bad product.
