I could live on these donuts. They're the only ones I've found here in southern Louisiana that use cream filling rather than custard. I guess cream filling is a northern thing, but custard is so heavy. The maple frosting is amazing, not super sweet but very tasty. The only thing that would improve these would be bacon bits on top.
These are delicious! Can't get enough of the fluff! I've never gotten a maple, which sux because that's what we all want, just read the reviews- and my shoppers REFUSE to treat these gently, so I'm always peeling the fudge off the clear window...😑 but i don't care, because they're soo delicious!.. the fluff is where it's at!!!
These bar donuts are good. They were fresh when arrived. I am disappointed in the amount of 'fluff filled' in the donuts, rather sparse. I do prefer the fluff rather than a custard filled donut. I may order them again, as they are good with a cup of coffee.
i jave it delivered and it is always either melted or icing is on top of thr pkg cause its thrown around and smashed plus they bring one like its supposed to be and one with sprinkles all over it where you cant take a bite without all the sprinkles and i dont like sprinkles on my chocolate
Ahhh…. I don’t even know where to start on this product ? I asked for a six pack of (what in any other store is Bavarian crème) Doughnuts .Any way we will go your way and call it yellow crème .what I got were 2 rectangular chocolate if you want to call the topping chocolate cakes (no kidding that’s what the label said) one maple flavored no not at all,it tasted like pitch. Second was some white frosting com’on guys really!!!
I put no I wouldn’t recommend this item, but the item is good it it is about half the size it used to be, but the price is the same. I know things are tighten and economic situation however I think it’s wrong to adjust the size of the product to have and continue on with the same price. You should’ve adjusted the price down.
Shrinkflation claims another product! The donuts are now HALF the thickness they used to be, an inch shorter and the cream filling has literally been cut down to HALF AN OUNCE, will no longer be purchasing any baked goods from Walmart, their contracted wholesaler has gone foul.
I remember longjohns as having the kind of filling inside of them that’s like the filling inside a hostess twinkie, a white very fluffy light substance. These had a sugar paste that is grainy indicating it had never even been cooked and thick and sticky and nothing but a heavy sugary paste. The donut itself is not bad and the icing is not bad except for being really really sweet but overall I would never eat these again, I would never buy these again. It just simply wasn’t what it should’ve been.
I personally was not a huge fan. I was so hungry for a cream filled donut. this one really had no taste. always I could taste was a coffee related chocolate that wasn't very good. The feeling actually had no flavor. it wasn't sugary it was just bland. it's not a snack I would have and I probably won't have a craving for one again. it doesn't help that it was stuck to the box. The chocolate was smeared all over the top of the box and you had to pry it out. Then you had to scrape off the chocolate and put it back on to donut. Just not a fan.. I'll stick with my regular angel cream filled donuts. they can't be beat.
Please make the box these are put in bigger, the chocolate one stick to the top of the box and the maple ones stick to the bottom of the chocolate and it looks as all they have been damaged when you display them. Here's what my mother's Day breakfast table looks like.
