Love my Crullers

GMah April 8, 2026

I'm so happy to have found these wonderful Crullers at my local Walmart!! No donut shops sells Crullers anymore. I have purchased these many times from my local Walmart. They have always been fresh and tasty. The plain cake donuts are excellent as well. I have spent 20 years looking for Crullers because they are my favorite and have been from childhood. These at my local Walmart did not disappoint.

These crullers taste like you're in Paris %26 you see these in a window of a French Patisserie. The only downside is that Wal-Mart hasn't had these in stock @ least 4 weeks. If the deli isn't going to have them anymore, take them off the deli items.

This needed one of my rare reviews

Shopinmypjs February 14, 2026

Hi, so it is a very occurrence that I review. When I do it, you need to trust my opinion is not bought. I took a chance on these cruellers, due to the reviews. I 90% expected them to be duds. Omg was I wrong. They really don't need that sickeningly sweet frosting, but the actual donuts are amazing. So light, so fluffy. Squishy in the middle and lightly fried on the outside. One tasted a bit stale, but did the most part they get a solid 4 out of 5. I'm hoping my next batch will be better from the morning. These are TRUE crueller donuts and Walmart is awesome for having them. I love the small packages for portion control, because I would definitely eat a whole box in one day.

Great Crullers

Deb March 20, 2026

I was beyond thrilled to see crullers (aka French crullers) back on the shelves after what felt like a long, disappointing absence. These have always been a favorite, and their return did not disappoint one bit. The texture is absolutely perfect—light, airy, and delicately crisp on the outside while soft and tender on the inside. Each bite has that classic, slightly eggy richness that makes crullers so unique compared to other donuts. What really stood out is that they taste just as fresh and delicious as I remembered. Sometimes when a product comes back after being out of stock for a while, it's not quite the same—but that's definitely not the case here. I truly hope they're here to stay this time. It's a relief (and a joy) to have them back. If you're a cruller fan, don't hesitate—grab them while you can!

Great product

Great product Great price Repeat buyer This time they were overly frosted which took away some of the enjoyment but one box out of ten is still pretty good odds of a yummy doughnut

I had these delivered. I would suggest that if you buy these, you would go into the store and purchase them, they seem to have come out of a freezer and they weren't as good as they've been in the past when I've gone into the store and bought them directly from their bakery.

1st Box Was Tasty, 2nd And 3rd Distasteful -

She March 19, 2026

I recently purchased a 2 count box of Vanilla Glazed French Crullers. I ate one and it was absolutely delicious, so I ate the second one. Both were divine - soft and smoothe on the inside and outside, puffy and sweet with a vanilla glaze. I had never eaten a French Cruller before that day and I was hooked! A week later I again purchased a 2 count box, and was eager to eat both when I got home. What a disappointment! The French Crullers were not soft and puffy. The vanilla glaze fell off in white chunks when I took a bite. The Freshness Guaranteed on the label was just not happening. Thinking this unappetizing box could be a one-off, I purchased another a few days later. Disappointing again, not fresh, white glaze falling off in chunks, not soft and fluffy. That is the last box of French Crullers I will buy. Apparently the first delicious box was the one-off!

Had a piece of dried grass stuck on it

Kris December 7, 2025

One of the doughnuts had a dried piece of grass stuck to the bottom under the glaze. Did they drop it on the floor and glaze it and sell it anyway? How would that even get there? We definitely didn't risk eating these. I do not recommend anything from Walmart bakery. It doesn't even deserve one star but that's the lowest rating I could give it.

Stop skimping on the bags Walmart.

Erika July 18, 2025

I think you don't give enough bags. My bakery goods are always smashed in a bag with my bleach and I can't enjoy them because the packaging came open on the way to my house. I would rather you charge me 25 cents per bag so I don't have to see $150 worth of groceries squished into two bags. Not only that, I have bad shoulders and can't lift a 25lb bag and carry it up my steps. And my personal favorite thing about this is that the bags are cheaply made and break. Handles pop right off. Groceries go spilling down the steps into my driveway. So now I have to go collect my items off the ground. I can't imagine a billion dollar company actually “needs” to skimp on bags. It's greed…. Being cheap to save yourself a few pennies. My shopper should be able to use as many bags as are needed so that my items come intact. The bag doesn't break and I don't end up with a shoulder cuff injury trying to carry the bags up the steps. The worst part of all of this is that I've complained, gotten my money back for damaged items and not until the order I placed last did the shopper tell me that she doesn't get to decide how many bags I get. I was reducing the delivery persons tips bc I had in my delivery note not to over fill the bags. Not one customer service rep or other delivery person ever told me that it was Walmart who decided how many bags I got. So now I feel obligated to tip the delivery person despite the fact that my items will inevitably be damaged. I will report and receive a refund every single time my items arrive damaged too. Stop being cheap with the bags. You don't know who you're delivering to. It could be a 90 year old person who can't carry those heavy bags. Now they have to rebag their items just to be able to carry them in the house. It's not right. Charge for the bags. I would rather pay and receive my items undamaged than to think you “gave me” 2 bags for 20 items.

stale doughnuts

jennette February 16, 2026

I bought these doughnuts several times they were good I had a grocery order delivered with more doughnuts, 2/17 same day the expiration date expires they were crusty and stale why would they even be available to purchase the day they expire, just remove them, I'd rather they not be available than get stale ones, it's annoying to throw food away when it could have been avoided if someone would just check the date
