Freshness Guaranteed Seeded Rye Sandwich Bread, 17 oz

This is the best rye bread I have ever eaten. I have recommended it to all my friends and served it at many quilt retreats and prayer groups. I should probably quit promoting it as there have been times it has been out of stock at my favorite Walmart store! It is that good!

I love a good rye bread, especially one with caraway seeds. The size of each slice is larger than other breads, which means you can make bigger sandwiches with more of the good stuff in them. A big Ruben sandwich with Swiss cheese, pastrami, and sauerkraut comes to mind. This bread is so popular that it is out of stock a lot of the time. It is frozen for freshness and thawed out to put on the shelf. I buy several loaves and re-freeze them for later.

I considered this Rye bread to be the closest to what we used to get when I was a kid. The texture %26 taste, are what matters. But the only problem I really have is Walmart having it in stock. I believe having it ordered for the next morning is the best time. Just my opinion.

I ALWAYS BUY 2 LOAVES EVERY TIME I DO MY IN-HOUSE DELIVERY ORDERS FROM WALMART

They come to the stores frozen. Explains why you can find the bags wet sometimes. Pro tip: Check that the bag is sealed in the bag when you get it home. Sometimes, the plastic "bread clip" wriggles itself nearly free. I refreeze them and notice no problems. I wish the heel would be packed in the back of the bag. The slices are a generous "now that's a sandwich" size. The seeds, which add so much to the flavor, get everywhere. Of course, you eat yours over a plate? I don't own a toaster, so no idea how it is toasted. Maybe the air fryer is an option? I eat Nutella and apple butter on this bread. So it isn't just for savory eating.

If bakery fresh rye bread is your thing, try this rye bread-smells and looks enticing, texture is dense yet air, just like bakery rye. Flavorful-perfect for sandwiches and for toasting. I ate a slice right out of the package with unsalted, Kerrygold Irish butter.

I wasn't too sure about this rye bread because it wasn't the type of rye bread that I was used to from Walmart! I love making sandwiches with them and I even make toast with them! If you like the seeds in them then go for it, you won't be disappointed.

This is without a doubt the best Rye Bread I have ever eaten ! It's from their bakery dept. I alway keep a backup loaf in my freezer because I have it every day. ( once defrosted it taste fresh as ever ! ) my daughter says I am addicted to it. Well it's my drug of choice. I've never been locked up because I had Rye bread in my possession .

First time I purchased a fresh loaf of bread from the Bakery. I love Rye and usually get the Jewish Rye - Arnolds or another brand in the bag. The picture of this product lured me in and I'm happy for that. The bread was fresh and delicious. Will need to buy again.

The bread was squished in between two two liter sodas. Who does that? Not only that it was not fresh even though the date was May 7 and today is May 2. I really like this bread, but not when it is squished and dry. Normally it is fresh and soft and very tasty. This was disappointing.
