Freshness Guaranteed Sliced Artisan White Sandwich Bread, Shelf-Stable, 20 oz, 1 Loaf

This was about the last choice of bread since a large winter storm warning. However I was pleasantly surprised with this bread. It was a bit dry but I think that may be the type of bread, wish I knew. I used it with Italian beef instead of rolls. Of course I didn't dip it but didn't worry that it had a bit of juice from the beef. It held up nicely thanks to a dryer texture. The taste was good with just room temp butter. For the beef it was perfect. For me it was a bit too thick for a normal sandwich actually but it would be great if more toppings I.e. with heavy amount of tuna, beef, lettuce or whatever. This would make the bread and toppings pair well, as you could always cut the sandwich in half if too much. But would be fine for those who enjoy more bread taste than filler. It would be too much bread e.g. for a regular sliced bologna and cheese sandwich imo. I will definitely buy again. Sorry if too much info.

Slices are smaller regular bread and they're thicker I find it perfect for children's sandwiches or Christmas sandwiches I found taken care of my 93 year-old mother. She ate less than she used to, but whenever I made her a sandwich because it was smaller, it seemed to appeal to her just my opinion and it makes good toast too.

I WASN'T IMPRESSED. THE FLAVOR WAS OK THE BREAD TASTED STALE EVEN THOUGHIT HADN'T REACHED THE BEST USE BY DATE. I MIGHT BUY AGAIN AND MIGHT NOT CONSIDERING THE PRICE. I THOUGHT FOR THE PRICE IT WOULD BE A MUCH BETTER PRODUCT!

Only bought this product cause they had no other bread during the ice storm (fern). Had no taste an was a little stale. Will not purchase again

Maybe I don't know what “fresh” bread tastes like, but this was tasteless to me. %26 it went bad extremely fast. Not a fan of buying bread from deli these days.

Stored in bread with other bread never opened was covered in mold 2 days before Best if used by date. The only one in the bread box with mold and was in there for the shortest amount of time.

Ordered bakery fresh baguette and received a second loaf of bread! I already had a loaf of bread. I did not need another loaf of bread

A good bread! just cut too thick for my liking, would be a good candidate for french toast.
