I wish these items would stop going up in price so frequently- it is amazing that the items on the shelf which are NOT BRAND new to the store go up in price too often- I am finding that Aldi is doing this as well and when they all raise the price people will stop buying the items.
It is mine and my two grandsons favorite Bread but if you have it more than 2 1/2 days it goes moldy, and I have to throw every time it always Which really irritates me because it’s expensive as in if you buy more than 1 loaf at a time than you only get threw about a little over a half loaf in like 2 days and you have to throw it away, I know it’s only a dollar but when you get two and three loaves at a time and you gotta throw it away before 2 1/2 days is up it does tend to get a little expensive that’s a little ridiculous when you buy it every week but it is our favorite bread and it’s awesome Bread, if you can only get like less than a half a loaf before, it starts turning green on you it tends to get expensive, and I cannot take a picture because I already threw it away yesterday because it was green. Sincerely Janice Wood
The Sliced French Bread tastes freshly made and is a perfect size for adults managing portion control, or for kids as a small slice of bread. It is even more delicious toasted with butter, garlic butter or any variety of spreads. It's been the best kept secret and, for the excellent low price, is a must-have in the refrigerator or on the kitchen counter.
My rating of 5 stars is for when purchased regularly for $1. The bread is good and WAS a good price. The price has now risen to $1.47. I won't be purchasing again until the price drops.
Love the bread. Great for little sandwiches, but won’t buy again for a while because you raised the price 47% since I bought it a few weeks ago. Too expensive when it only lasts about 3 days! Sorry. Too big a jump.
I used to purchase a loaf of this French or Italian bread every week, as it so handy for a quick butter bread, small sandwich or perfect size for breakfast. It is so deliciou and was very economical I no longer purchase it because of the sharp increase in price. Used to be economical, now just might as well purchase a full sized loaf for the price. Sorry to see this happen!
Im disabled so I have my food delivered. Im tired of getting bread that is, at least 2 to 3 or more days old. It’s not just the bread but I’m also having problems when I order fresh fruit or frozen items. I don’t need veggies that aren’t fresh or frozen food that is already freezer burnt. Please take alittle more time picking out our products. Let the people who are picking out the groceries for us think that those purchases are for them or their family. Let them put themselves in our shoes. 👠 Sorry about that but you wanted my opinion. Thank you for asking. 😃💜 Sincerely, Donna Wills From Missoula, Montana
This is absolutely disgusting! I purchased this bread a on the 19th, best used by is 22nd. I had an emergency over the weekend so unfortunately I wasnt able to eat the bread, however upon throwing out, i see that there are two stickers. I peeled back the latest and this was packaged on the 16th of June with a best used by the 19th. I dont ever have a need for this bread but it was date night and I wanted to use this bread for dinner.
I purchased two of these yesterday and today when we ate some of one of them today it made my daughter and myself sick to the stomach! So, this bread must have been at the point where it was starting to turning bad. I would not recommend it to anyone is bread that was picked out for us as bad you need to check your bread from time to time because this batch was bad!
I purchased this last week. It was $1.00. This week $1.47. Seriously a 47% increase? The best part it expires in 2 days. Will be asking for a refund. What in the actual crap is this Walmart. It's not tariffs. It's pure greed!
