This was very good, very creamy, for being a store bought bakery style cheese cake the freshness was on point, I wish it would have had more of the strawberry glaze maybe poured over it, but once you get into the cheese cake you see the glaze is a very thing layer. For the price the cake was a good size. I would buy it again. It was enjoyable to get cheesecake and not have to make one myself so it was a win in my book.
its cheesecake. good texture, dense, strawberryey. its got a good graham cracker crust on it- I like to lick them up by hand and eat them like pieces of pizza like a true fatty. the quality is good, seems fresh. packaged well. nice and swirly, looks pretty . for some reason it says things I might consider in this review are, "cinnamon, Lunch, Smoky flavor and diet" LOL DIET. more like DIEt am I right. I ate three slices.
I personally love the taste, texture and appearance of these cheesecakes. I'd rather buy them then bake one, much more convenient. Especially the variety one, you get a bit of different yummy flavors.
OMG!!! Best cheesecake EVER!!! With the exception of the one my Grandma made all my life. Sadly, I probably won't be buying it too often simply because it is TOO good! Makes me wish I had been born skinny......
All in all, was a decent cake to use for guests in an emergency. Unfortunately, it was not one of my favorite bakery items from Walmart. Very little strawberry flavor-definitely needed more! Kind of mushy consistency also, but after putting in freezer, was a little better.
If you're expecting an authentic homemade cheesecake, this isn't for you. It's got a jelly-like strawberry topping and it's quite sweet. It's very much what I would expect to buy from a grocery store. I like that it's pre-cut. I bought the smaller version initially due to all the bad reviews I read. I ended up liking it so much I bought this bigger size during my next shopping trip.
First of all I did not order this Cheese Cake. It was a substitute for a Cake I ordered for Christmas dinner dessert and they were out of stock. But who substitutes a Red Velvet Cake with a Cheese Cake? The bad part is only 2 of my guest eat Cheese Cake. Still got some in the fridge.
Walmart provided me with a cheesecake that expired the day after the purchase date. The graham cracker crust wasn't solid but compacted down into a wet soggy mess. I was shocked when I looked at the date. Who eats a cheesecake in one day. it was supposed to be for Easter which isn't going to happen.
This cheesecake is very good except for the last time I ordered one I had a delivery order and my shopper picked one out of date by 2days. When I contacted Walmart for a refund there was an automated system that denied my refund and I couldn't even speak with customer service about it. So I'm upset that I had to pay for this out of date item and was just stuck with the loss of my money on it. The cheesecake is by far my favorite when I go in the store and pick one with a good experation date
I did a curbside pick up order for desserts, two days before a holiday party. There was a substitution made that I approved, thinking it was because the cheesecakes I wanted were not in stock (no reason given for sub). I got the cheesecakes after a long wait and left. I realized when I put them out for the party that they were expired in the one day between picking them up and my party. (Pickup Thursday, party Saturday) I believe this is a very intentional swap to use nearly expired products first. The crust was soggy and the taste was off so I threw them out and we only had cookies for dessert .
