Freshness Guaranteed Triple Chocolate Cake, 35 Ounces, Refrigerated, Base and Dome

I love this cake but Walmart has stopped carrying it they're making a different kind of cake and it doesn't taste the same.

Absolutely delicious with a moist two layer cake with thick mouthwatering chocolate icing and cake crumble on the perimeter. Definitely worth the money

Very disappointed. The cake was very, very dry. But the kicker was the girl delivering never put her phone down or acknowledged me and the cake was placed upside down in a plastic bucket that was part of my order too. She blew what could have been an eighteen dollar tip. I am a generous tipper and appreciate delivery people. But I also have my limits. Walmart please retrain or do better vetting.

This cake crumbles, falling apart before it gets to your mouth. It has a tangy sweet taste, unlike the smaller 4" chocolate cake, 15.9 oz one. I don't like it. I wish that I could return it for 2 of the 5" cakes.

Today I had 2-Walmart receipts. Decatur, TX store 1ST one: was a delivery of 10 items, original order of 12. I tried to even contact to shopper, but He had already left the store( 2 hours ahead of delivery time) and it was documented that the cake I ordered for 5.98 was not available and I had a alternate listed: chocolate cake I believe 11.98, if the smaller cake was gone. But it said item not available! My whole purpose was the order was for the cake and ice cream, which I also listed an alternative, but they didn't pick that also. Or they showed the ice cream alternative, but it wasn't delivered,also. My delivery was to be around 8:30pm or later, I believe. Delivery occurred around 6:30, I believe. But it looks like they are doing rushes on this. 2 ND receipt: SO, I WENT TO WALMART, (mind you, I had to load up my oxygen tank, so it is an inconvenience for me to do this) After I put away my delivery items, less the ice cream, which I had to initiate a refund for. But I should have taken pictures to post, but there were 3 different Chocolate cakes there, 1 small round about $ 5.98, Then were 2 larger round cakes by Hersheys for $11:98, And finally were several 3-4 of larger one with white candy pearls on top, same size as the Hershey chocolate cake round, for $12-13.00. (So it looks like the shopper didn't even go to the cake section, poor planning…won't get you the reward. ) And so, I chose my cake and decided on some ice cream and left the store after my 2nd purchase. And the Cake is Very good! I will no longer have Home deliveries that cost 5 dollars more, and then they want a tip. Here is a Tip= DO YOUR JOB CORRECTLY! Especially if you want a tip. Rushing it 2 hours early without the cake that I knew was there in some size, and yes I had chosen an alternate to the larger cake….but totally said, “not available “! Hope someone up there in Decatur Texas fixes this problem. Produce ISsues: Plus it would help if you teach shopper how to pick fresh fruits and veggies in produce: - Or set up the site on do you want the smallest head of lettuce which is not firm, or do you want a firm one, do you want the smallest of the yellow squash, or larger. Maybe If we had some options - like how much green do you want on your bananas?

We always buy the smaller 5” chocolate cakes and LOVE them. I thought we'd try a larger size that looked relatively the same make/kind. This cake tasted off. It was SO sweet (which is usually a good thing in our house). It was so unliked that after the first cuts of cake no one would touch the leftovers.

Wish I had read reviews before purchasing this Triple Chocolate Cake! Cake was supposed to be a 2 layers with (what appeared on the picture to be) a generous layer of frosting separating those layers. But the frosting between the layers was so thin it appeared to be just a single layer (unless you practically used microscope). And this was the driest cake I've ever had! My family tried it first, and didn't tell me right away so by the time I tasted the cake several days had passed - and was probably outside the return window. The cake deserves one star however for the layer of frosting on top of the cake. It was really tasty. Get it together Walmart! Freshness guaranteed? Not sure how. That cake was stale when the bakery frosted it!!!!
