I live in North Fort Myers, Florida. They stopped selling these in my local super Walmart months ago. I had to drive 25 minutes to go to another store to buy them. They also won't let me order them online. They are so good though, it's almost worth the drive.
I love these. I think that they are the best snack ever. They remind me of the cinnamon rolls that my mother used to make by hand i love these. I think that they are the best snack ever. They remind me of the cinnamon rolls that my mother used to make. Memories of my.mom in every bite. Not your ordinary cinnamon roll!
My husband absolutely loves these! He says they're exactly like his mom makes. I don't buy them much because they've gotten so expensive in other stores. Usually over $5 . Walmart has the best price. They are moist. Sometimes it's hit and miss for moist ca dry texture. He'll eat them either way. For me, they must be moist. You can smell the cinnamon as soon as you open the lid
I totally LOVE these little devils! They are so perfect for my dessert because I love cinnamon but hate icky sweet frosting, so when I'm done eating my meal, I just grab one roll out of the container and tear off bit of the roll and slowly chew it up. After swallowing, I decide if I want more, and if so, I tear off a bit more of the roll and chew it up, also. After 2 or 3 of these nibbles, I'm usually ready to stop, so I put the remaining Center of the roll back in the container. At this rate I consume about 2 rolls per day. Yummers!! Cant stand to watch other folks just gobble 'em down ! So disrespectful of their awesomeness! So if you get some take time to savor the flavor!
I love cinnamon, so these two-bite schnecken flavored only with the spice pretty much satisfy my every early-morning desire. But I grew up eating schnecken from a bakery on South 18th Street in Center City Philadelphia, Hanscom's, and those were improved by raisins and a touch of granulated sugar. I would definitely add raisins to Walmart's mix to moisten these little tidbits if I were bakery chief in Bentonville. Lacking that, one can obviously add a raisin to every mouthful oneself. Not quite the same, but better than the dry schnecken alone.
These are the only treats I buy for myself. Sadly they're very inconsistent from week to week. Sometimes they are actually fresh, moist and wonderful. But oftentimes it's like there's a different baker... the little muffins are very dry as though they were overcooked or left out of the oven too long before packaged so they are dried out. I still buy them because I never know if I'm going to get a good package or a bad package. If they were always fresh and moist they would get five stars all around.
I first thought that there was frosting on them but when I took a closer look, I saw that I was wrong. The cinnamon flavor is delicious but they got hard very quick. Maybe it was where I had kept them and they need to be in a warm place like above the stove or near where you have constant warmth.
These were terrible and not as advertised. First it doesn't say they're mini size but they are. They were also covered in an icing which was so hard, if I had teeth, I'd have broken one. Third, the roll itself was dry and hard as a rock. Definitely don't recommend.
You changed the product to fit in a smaller container- yet didn't lower the price. Cinnamon rolls not iced, taste like they are not baked all the way- texture is dry and flavor is not great. Previous rolls were so much better and a favorite in my house. Unfortunately , I will no longer purchase.
Today is July 7 and the sell by date is July 24 but they are so dry that you can choke on them. I can't imagine how dry and hard they would be by the sell by date.
