My brother LOVES cream horns. He told me, "Thank you," gave me a kiss, and later in the week said, "They were fantastic. More please." I told him he would need to be a good boy and allow his big sister to pick on him until his birthday in April. He just laughed. He is in his 50's and we still raze each other for fun. His wire always supports me! "Nanny, nanny, boo-hoo!" ;0)
Sickening , hard as a rock , stale , and the creme what hard like plaster on a wall , dry gave cotton mouth I gasp for milk , water . Even hot sauce . It was that bad I ran to find something so I could swallow that crap spit the rest out . Fast action to the trash . Absolutely Nasty.
One of my evening treats following my dinner. Very cost effective. Very tasty. Compare prices to any other market. Try making these from scratch. You will gladly return to purchase
These are the closest to the cream horns I enjoyed back in the 70s from a small bakery in Macon, Georgia. The filling is extremely creamy and the pastry , flaky and so good!
These are my favorite creme horns. Walmarts taste the best. I have tried other stores but none are as good as Walmarts. I don't even buy them anywhere else.
We love these. They are a great once in awhile treat and delicious. Crunchy on the outside and flaky and sweet and creamy in the center.
i really like these things, but they're not ever very fresh when i buy them. and sometimes the bottoms of them are even kinda 'damp' - which is not very appealing, since i always tear that part off - which makes them very expensive over-all.
Good. My dad would bring these home and we would eat them together. I always feel like we are eating them again.
this 2 times I have got hard cream horns, this is getting old. They are selling hard bread too. Wish there was another way we could get groceries. I'm unable to go to store to shop. Because, I'm so tired the way they pick out the groceries. Strawberries are real green and hard or way over ripe. Wish we had a better store in our town, where you could order groceries online to pick. Or they are also out of product, then, they wait until time for you to pick and send message that tgey are out of the product. I order online, a long time, before covid and charge the programming. It was alot better then. Go back to the way it was before covid.
The Cream was very thick and was more like a frosting. I had a couple bites and I tossed the entire thing out. The cream is supposed to be light, airy, fluffy, not thick and heavy.
