A very good sub roll for making sandwiches in the air fryer like Subway. Slice it length-wise, assemble your sandwich, then Roast (or equivalent) in the air fryer for 5 minutes. Surface gets stiff/crunchy based on how long you cook it, while the inside stays chewy. Standard meat slice, cheese, greens sandwiches, meatball subs, even french toast breakfast sandwiches, all come out nicely. Only negative: if you buy in bulk and don't refrigerate, you run the risk of mold developing rapidly.
The sub buns are delicious. You can use them for breakfast lunch dinner they never stay in stock. That’s how you know they’re great and the price is wonderful. Get some for your family tonight and try them with some steak Phillies or some sub sandwiches and I guarantee you you’ll love this bread.
This bread was soft yet sturdy. I used them to make meatball subs. I had a few extra sandwiches, and the bread was still soft the next day even after being in the oven to melt the cheese when made. Much cheaper than purchasing a sandwich for a facility.
I absolutely love these rolls. I much prefer these than the name brand rolls that are in the aisles. These are fresh and they taste wonderful in a sandwich. In fact I have gotten so spoiled with these that I don't make sandwiches on bread anymore. These also work great in the broiler is you want to add a little crispness to your sandwich. They are quite large and I can make two sandwiches out of one roll. They freeze great as well.
These make great little french bread pizzas and subs. I almost didn't get them because of the poor reviews but a lot of them don't even have anything to do with the product. Give them a try. My family and I love them. I have purchased them no less than 10 times.
These Freshness Guaranteed White Sub Rolls were a little different from what I expected. I was anticipating more of a traditional white sub roll or Italian-style bread, but the flavor leaned noticeably sweeter to me, almost like a mix between classic white bread and potato bread. I wasn't completely sure what to think of the taste at first, and personally it missed the mark a bit for what I usually want in sub rolls. That said, the freshness and texture were honestly very good. The rolls were extremely soft and fluffy without much crunch, which I actually preferred since I was specifically looking for something softer rather than a firmer bakery roll. They were also very easy to cut into clean slices and fill with sandwich fixings because the bread stayed soft instead of cracking or crumbling apart. The size also stood out to me. These seemed larger than typical six-inch sub rolls and felt closer to maybe 8 inches long. The pack includes six rolls, so there was a generous amount in the pack overall. One thing I was concerned about was how quickly they might go stale since bakery bread sometimes loses freshness fast, especially with larger packs. Surprisingly, these held up well for over a week and still stayed soft for sandwiches and slices without tasting dried out. I personally would rather have a more traditional sub roll flavor next time, but if you already like sweeter breads, these may be a better fit for you.
We would like to thank you for the shopping and delivery, also to inform you the bread sub rolls sent to us are expired (July 1st), there is visible mold (pictures are attached). How can we have them collected and exchanged, please? Thank you for your time and attention.
Item was under proofed so it wasn’t big enough to make a sub, they were an inch thick. They were also burned. They looked like wheat from the color.
These were part of a delivery order. The best buy date was the next day and they definitely were not fresh. They were very hard and not edible. I threw them in the trash and got a refund from Walmart.
If I could I'd give 0 stars. I bought this and litterly the next evening it was completely molded. Absolutely disgusting. Walmart wouldn't even give me a refund even after the pictures.
