check "use by dates".

Sheila February 8, 2026

I just wish that those who choose the groceries, for delivery, would check use by dates and choose packages with more time to use. Most times the use by date is the very next day. When you live alone its hard to use before the bakery items dry out.

These are to die for. The best apple fritters in the world. mmm Walmart stopped selling them in packs of two ($3.50). Now, you have to buy them in restaurant size case ($87.00). Worth evey penny - but that large amount would not stay fresh to the last one. If Walmart is reading this, sell smaller amounts. Even by the dozen would be OK!

Hard to review, because NEVER available.

JTMLX March 29, 2026

I have ordered apple fritters seven or eight times, but received them only ONCE. My rating is based on the one time. When I have complained about them generally not being available, I've been told only that "stock varies". That does not explain why apple fritters are NEVER available. I must note that I previously criticized apple turnovers for lacking apple filling, and I'm happy to say THAT HAS BEEN CORRECTED.

Smallest Fritters

Anonymous December 6, 2025

They were two of the smallest fritters I have ever seen. Didn't even fill half the box. Yet, the charge was still $2.16. Last time, they weren't completely cooked and the glazing put on while they were still hot. They were mushy. I guess I've got to stop ordering them. Not good for my health anyway.

We have ordered these to be delivered in the past and this is the first time this one was horrible. I looked on the package and it said to use by May 28th and we didn't have the package delivered until the 29th so when we ate it today it was almost hard as a rock We had to throw some of it away I'm going to request a refund on it

Where is the apple in the apple fritter?

Sue January 13, 2026

These look like small Apple Fritters, but they taste like greasy dough. Could not find a bit of apple nor a taste of cinnamon and hardly any sweetness. Don't know if it was a bad batch or if they are all this way. Would not purchase again, nor could I recommend.

received expired and dried out

V October 25, 2025

expired date on box. clearly caring about what's on the shelves to be shopped and delivered doesn't get checked. very disappointing when you were expecting your items to be edible not dried out. do better Walmart, things are tough all over not just in your stores.

Frit frat not tasty fritters

Katrina July 6, 2026

Stop calling this a fritter. This is so nasty do not buy this. I received the outdated one and then after opening it I seen that it was not what I thought it was. I thought it was a apple fritter. It's just literally a big giant cinnamon bun and then I threw sugar on top it. This is not fritter at all even if it's a fritter without fruit this is not a fritter like don't

Tiny and Stale

DLG July 5, 2026

Very disappointed with this product. I rarely write bad reviews but felt this one needed to be written. My husband loves fritters and was looking forward to these. When they were delivered, he was terribly disappointed. They were very tiny, thin, and hard as a rock. Inedible. Sadly they went into the trash and we will not purchase again

Is Icing Going Extinct?

Montanagal January 5, 2026

These are a lot better when there's actually icing on them. When I started ordering this product the icing was all over the top portions of each fritter, and it made the apple fritter taste so good; now, the past half dozen times that I've gotten them, one of the two has only slight icing and over half of the fritter has no icing at all while the 2nd fritter has 2/3rds icing covering and 1/3 bare — I won't be purchasing anymore.
