Connection to smart phone was seamless, we've been using this in my husbands garage so there's no central air connection, and it's great to be able to use our phones to set the temperature before we get ready to go out there and watch tv, and if we forget to shut it off before we come inside we can turn it off remotely ! Definitely quick to cool down, but we are only using it to cool one “room” albeit a very large “room” as it's a garage lol not super noisy at all and easy to stop noticing quickly !

It easily cools the whole first floor of our 1700 sq ft home and the best part is that it does so quietly. The auto air sweep feature is interesting. The lateral panel moves up and down softly to distribute the cool air in the room. The ac connects to an app which enables Alexa controls on Wi-fi. It also comes with a remote. Installing the ac was easy with the retractable side panels and brackets included. Overall quality is impressive and better than any other ac unit we've ever owned.
