Our Air conditioner arrived without a scratch or dents from Indiana to the Oregon Coast, only took 3 days to get it. Mounted it in a half hour. The instructions are not horrible but there are videos on Youtube so I used it instead. It works great. House is much cooler.

However, this unit is beyond my expectations. It is quiet and quite efficient. It provides the additional comfort my family and I needed in the space where placed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Frigidaire is my go to AC Window Unit. My family and I have always had one backup window unit and we only use Frigidaire. It is reliable and trustworthy. I just installed an updated one the other day. It had a higher BTU.

The unit is better overall than most units on the market today. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it will not pull water out of the air, even on the dry setting which is supposed to be a dehumidifier, it does not drip much water in humid weather; while other units I have had dripped lots of water. The remote control is easy to use and complete, you don't need to download an app and use an app just to have your AC turn off in 4 hours, just go beep beep and it is done. Quicker than opening and configuring an app every time, LOL. Took one AC out of the window and returned it because I discovered it required an app to do that. Freaking ridiculous.

I had a 8000 btu ac in my shop(12x24) for years . It did an okay job cooling the shop. When the 8000 btu went out I jumped up to 10000 btu with this ac. It can't cool like the 8000 btu did. The compressor don't stay on long enough to cool. I'm not using any of the energy saving gadgits. I have a temp gauge hanging on the vent and it runs around 60 degrees,unless the compressor Is on then about 45 to 50. The compressor will not stay on long enough to cool the shop.

Cools room great. Would have gotten higher rating if it was quieter. I found the remote very confusing.

This model is cheap and doesnt blow very cold air. It doesnt sit in the window right. The vents dont even move up and down to direct air flow. Ridiculous.
