[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced an AC unit that barely cooled our room and for winter we would use an electric fireplace heater. We really needed something that took care of both issues and where we could open the door to cool down the rest of our converted garage. This solved all our problems. Especially, because we live in Hot n' humid central Florida where often you need the heat at night and the AC during the day. Yes, you read that right. Florida weather is no joke and this AC was exactly what we needed. Note: You will need a 220V outlet inside to use this AC.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this Frigidaire 18,800 BTU window unit for my living room and man, it's a game changer! My place is about 3500 sq ft, and while this unit is rated for smaller spaces, it cools my main living area real quick, even when it's super hot outside. I live in a sunny home, and it handles the heat like a champ for the rooms I use most. Installation was pretty easy, took me about an hour to set it up by myself. The instructions were clear, but the unit is kinda heavy, so maybe get a buddy to help if you're not used to lifting stuff. Also, you need a special power outlet for this thing, like a 230-volt one, so check your home's setup before buying. Once it's in, it works like a dream. The remote is awesome, I can change the temp from my couch, and the Wi-Fi feature is cool too—I use the app to turn it on before I get home. It's not super quiet, but it's not crazy loud either. You'll hear the fan, especially on high, but it's not like it drowns out the TV or anything. The eco mode is nice, saves some energy, but I wish the fan shut off completely when the compressor stops, it'd be quieter that way. One thing I don't love is the beep when you press buttons on the remote. It's kinda sharp and my cat jumps every time lol. Also, it's a bit of a power hog, my electric bill went up a little, but it's worth it to stay cool. Overall, I'm real happy with this AC. It cools fast, works good, and has some neat features. If you need to cool a big space like part of a 3500 sq ft home, this one's a solid pick for a single area. Just be ready for a bit of noise, a slightly higher bill, and make sure you got that special outlet.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Frigidaire window air conditioner instructions was easy to read and installation was also easy. It has many cooling features. I have to keep it on low or walk around with a sweater on. This is an awesome unit. This is a 18000 BTU. The supplemental heating in this unit is very useful in the winter months to keep warm. I haven't had to clean it yet but it appears to be easy to remove filter. Just rinse and dry. The remote makes it easy to control.

However, keep in mind that it's not the lightest unit out there. In short, the Frigidaire FHWH184WB2 feels like it was designed for those who value efficiency, versatility, and year-round comfort. It's reliable, feature-packed, and well-suited to those who want more than just an air conditioner—it's practically a personal climate assistant.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Frigidaire 18,800 BTU Window Room Air Conditioner is an excellent option for cooling individual rooms or small spaces. Its easy to see why this window AC is a great investment for anyone looking to improve their home's comfort. One of the most significant advantages of Frigidaire AC is their affordability. Compared to central air conditioning systems, window units are much less expensive both in terms of initial purchase price and installation costs. Central air systems require extensive ductwork and professional installation, which can be quite costly. In contrast, window ACs are relatively inexpensive to buy and can be installed by the homeowner without the need for professional assistance. This makes them an attractive option for those on a budget or for renters who may not want to invest in a permanent cooling solution. Ease of installation is another major benefit of Frigidaire ACs come with a detailed instruction manual, and all that is typically required is to place the unit in a window, secure it with the included brackets, and a three prong plug. This simplicity makes Frigidaire ACs an ideal choice for those who want a quick and hassle-free cooling solution. Frigidaire AC is energy efficiency is a crucial factor to consider when buying a unit. It comes with energy-saving features such as programmable timers, sleep modes, and energy-efficient compressors. These features help to reduce energy consumption and lower utility bills. Additionally, because window ACs are designed to cool specific areas rather than an entire home, they can be more efficient than central air systems, which may waste energy cooling unoccupied rooms.Smaller units are perfect for cooling bedrooms or home offices, while larger units can effectively cool living rooms or open-plan spaces. Frigidaire ACs even come with heating capabilities, providing year-round comfort by serving as both an air conditioner and a heater. Frigidaire ACs also offer excellent air quality benefits. This unit comes equipped with advanced filtration systems that help to remove dust, pollen, and other airborne particles from the air. This can be particularly beneficial for individuals with allergies or respiratory conditions, as it helps to create a cleaner and healthier indoor environment. It's been a while since I could enjoy my craft room its not temperature controlled and I'm so relieved to have this AC during the summer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We installed in 20'x30'well installed man cave. Installed through wall to replace old Frigidaire unit we bought new in 2016. A relay was burnt out & the main circuit board was ruined on that older unit. I wish that one had lasted a bit longer. But it has been such a good unit we stuck with Frigidaire. I bought one of these last year also for a 14x60 Mobil home. That unit is performing well & is all they used for heat. We purchased a Hisense unit a couple years ago that doesn't really blow warm air & also the fan will not kick off when heat goes off so it just blows cold air. You get what you pay for & I can guarantee you won't regret buying this Frigidaire. I will say the unit is heavy. Really need 2 strong men. Also be aware this is not a normal 110v plug so you will need to have a 220v wire run & outlet installed. Unless you have a lot of electrical knowledge leave this to an electrician. Frigidaire is the only brand we will buy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had a chance to see this unit in action. I have played with the features from Heat to Cool to fan only. I even purchased the additional HEPA filter for the unit. What an amazing difference. Heating: Its in our house on the ground floor which is about 1k SQFT. Its not open concept but we have a fan blowing from one room to the other. We set it to 66 degrees to keep the house warm. Not only does it keep the room comfortable but it keeps the whole ground floor comfortable. Its not overworking itself and is very quiet. Its like a hot air furnace but with the hepa filter attached you can smell the difference in the air. its amazing. Cooling: boy does this unit get the room chilly quick. We had a warm day and decided to fire it up (so to speak). It cooled down right away. The vent adjustments were great and really directed the air. We opened it up to fresh air from outside with the lever and it was just great. Not loud and wasn't running all the time. It turns on auto on its own to make sure the temp remains constant. Fan Mode: This was great on a day when it was nice outside using the open vent and the HEPA filter bring some fresh air inside while also filtering the air inside the house to just give the house a nice crisp fresh air feeling circulating it around. There are no downsides to this at all. A+++
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is best type of AC system you can get. This system produces ice cold air to cool down any space quick. It has so many features the we love too. The sleep mode is nice and keeps us cool all night. The filter is washable, so no need to replace. If the power fails, it starts back up when the power is restored. This system also has heat built right in. So it can also heat the area for us as well. I was surprised at how well it heats. The remote lets up easily control this sytem from anywhere in the room. It also has all the controls right on the front and easy to get to. This Frigidaire AC system is well built and will keep us comfortable year round.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This air conditioner has been the greatest purchase I've made lately. Especially with the heat, I am able to keep the whole house cool. I am able to operate the ac from any part of the house with the app! I definitely recommend making sure you have the right outlet for it as it is a 220V. The installation was pretty easy. It is a big unit so you will need at least 2 people to help install. Other than that the ac is amazing!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my old outdated AC for this new Frigidaire 18,8000 BTU Window Air Conditioner and what was I surprised. At first glance I didn't expect much from it but after using it for awhile now my mind has changed. It's so powerful, it can cool a room in a jiffy. Plus it is so quiet, you can barely hear that an AC is on. It makes sleeping at night so much better, it allows me to breath the air in and makes me snore less. It's a little bulky but once it's set on the window you don't notice the size. The power compensate for the size. I can now enjoy the warmer weather even more.
