Frigidaire 18,000 BTU 230-Volt Window Air Conditioner with Slide-Out Chassis, Energy Star, FHWC183WB2

I was so excited to receive this item when it arrived I saw the box all ripped like if they had played with the box. When I opened the box the first thing I see is one big dent and a few others on the air conditioner I know it's heavy and big but waooooo I was so upset I don't even know if to return it or keep it. Hopefully if I try it it works and the dents won't affect it but I'm still undecided.

If your unit is not too damaged to be installed, it functions very well. *Arrived Damaged -Despite heavy duty foam packing and minimal visible damage to the box, the AC arrived badly damaged. The plastic face arrived busted, which made installation difficult. We were afraid of it cracking more. The face includes the buttons and screen built in, so it can't be easily replaced (although if Frigidaire wants to mail a replacement, I'll gladly accept!) -If I purchased this from a "scratch

Completely opened up the unit only to find there is some damage to the inside of it. Bent fins, bent corners, and a broken corner. The plug is weird. Found out it was meant for Canada. I live in the U.S. The only good thing is I got it for almost half price.

Do not buy on line. my ac was so beat up I could not even get it out of the housing! this unit does not even come close to comparing with my 15 year old amana ac it replaced. (which was still working but needed a thermostat.) Should of just had it fixed.

In order to put bracelets on to support in window . You have to pull the inards out of the unit then replace them, its done but not an easy task with the weight of the unit. And had damage to unit having been shipped; there were crack to front plate and bent frameing, the insulation in unit was also cracked. The unit works great, and is quiet,

Waste of money and service!!!!!! Bought this trash may 11,2021 and when the handy man installed it to the wall the aircon is not blowing any cold air . Waited for an hour and the room is getting hotter and hotter . Got the 18,000 btu . Its quite but no cold air coming out .

nowhere in the product description does it state that the plug is a non American style plug on top of this one must've been a return cause it was already cracked on the face plate and dented on the body but the box had no damage. And I don't like to be told by customer service after spending over $600 on this thing to "just get an adaptor for it" I'm not putting more money into something that should've worked right out of the box. completely ridiculous!

Air conditioner plug requires an odd receptacle (European?). Could not find appropriate receptacle at Home Depot or Lowes. Extremely heavy and cumbersome to move. Very disappointed and annoyed. Wasted so much time and energy looking for replacement receptacle and to return this unit back at Walmart. What a hassle!!! Do yourself a favor and get a different model.

I bought the wrong item. The seller would not allow a return. I got a partial refund only.

Box was not damaged but the unit had cracks on the front grill. It turns on but the fan does not work at all. Worthless
