Frigidaire 18,000 BTU Inverter Window Air Conditioner, White

The 18k with inverter technology has proven itself to be a workhorse at a fair price. I like the fact it was available without heat as I would never have used that feature. Not to many competitors offer this. I highly recommend.

I did buy an air purifier filter and received it yesterday so I'm reading the directions to see how to put it in. I had a previous 25,000 BTU Frigidaire, which lasted 10 years and I hope this 18,000 be to you last just as long so far, I have no problems and I hope it stays that way. Thanks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are using this in our basement to help cool it during the spring/summer months of heat in SC. The temperature seems quite cool when on the lowest fan speed. The control panel is extremely user friendly. I'm hoping I will get more used to the sound as it is rather noisy in our echoing basement. Shipping was easy and it arrived on our front porch. Note— it's very heavy! You'll need at least two people to move it! However, keeping cool in the heat makes the weight of it totally worth it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this as a wall unit in my home shop (small out building) it replaced a very old 12,000 BTU. This unit is much lighter than the same size 12,000 unit but still heavy and needs two people to comfortably move. The unit is quite and the fan moves a lot of air. It was easy to connect the unit to WIFI via the Frigidaire app which lets me turn the unit on and cool down the space before I head out there. The app works with Alex and I just ask her to turn on the Shop AC. Super easy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We installed this unit in our out building. the install was fairly easy. Its a big unit so 2 people are needed. We hooked it up to the WIFI and can control the unit with the Frigidaire app.

This unit runs well; pretty quiet. Fits the window well and is versatile. The biggest thing to be aware of is the electric plug type—LCDI 6-15P. Overall a good fit for our needs!

I ordered an air conditioner, and paid $110 to have it installed; after installation, they realized it was not an American plug. I'm not sure why this isn't in the description about the plug. Very disappointed and frustrated about this. Not sure why this type of plug would be sent an American customer.
