Our 40 year old fridge kicked the bucket so we started researching for a new fridge. This fridge is so spacious! With 3 in-door sets of shelving and adjustable glass shelves inside, we have so much space for everything. Gone are the days of knocking 3 or 4 things over just to grab one item!
I bought this fridge to replace one that I've had for 30 years. I was excited to experience a new refrigeration system considering how technology has changed in that time. I was pleasantly surprised by the abundance of storage space within the doors and the freezer keeps frozen items in better condition for consumption (ex: ice cream scoops nicely out of the freezer, no more digging it out or waiting a while before serving).
Having previously had the freezer below the refrigerator the new position took a day or two to get used to, but now it makes good sense and we love it. The interior design seems to provide more useful space than the old LG. Overall a very good product!
My elderly parents bought this refrigerator in Jan 2024. It had a manufacture date of 2023. They purchased it because they are on a fixed income and the low price fit their budget. They needed to replace their 40 year old refrigerator that stopped working. Fast forward 2 years and 5 months later and it does not freeze or cool. I arranged for an appliance repair company to diagnose the problem and see if they could repair it as I thought it must be a minor issue. Lo and behold it was diagnosed with having a total failure and probable freon leak of the closed system. So disappointed in Frigidaire for selling such a lemon of a product. This experience has caused so much grief aggravation and stress for my elderly parents who are in poor health. And now they are hurt financially because the have to buy a new replacement fridge after only just 2.5 years. Hopefully, they will have better luck with a different brand.
Purchased as an extra fridge for my little bakery. It stopped working after 6 months. Called for maintenance/warranty, but was told I was not eligible because it was used for commercial purposes. Appliances should not stop working after 6 months.
Have had in the past and still do have Frigidaire Refrigerators but apparently the company has outsourced to the point it's turning out crap. Looks good but always made weird noised and now I can't get a repair because of my location. I'm not getting any feedback from Support either so I stuck putting things outside to keep cool, lucky it's gotten cold here. Not a good company.
Acheté en janvier 2025. Défectueux moins de 7 mois plus tard! Plus de trois semaines avant la réparation... Si c était à refaire... Non merci.
Bought this refrigerator early February and had problems right away with temperature settings. First of all, the refrigerator section wasn't cold enough. I had it on recommended setting and went up to coldest. Then the freezer section started to ice over. I went down from recommended setting to lowest setting. Items started to freeze in the refrigerator section. All my produce was frozen. Freezer still iced over. I called the company. They said I hadn't registered my appliance yet. Anyway, they suggested I unplug the fridge for 24 hrs. This was a chore since I am 71 y.o. and my fridge was full. I moved as much out of it as I could but still ended up gouging my vinyl floor when I moved the fridge. I remember, once upon a time, when there used to be an OFF setting inside the fridge to defrost it. Why don't they do this anymore????? It seems to be working fine right now but as soon as I put more stuff in the freezer, it starts to ice up again!!! Can we put ANYTHING in the freezer?? Is it meant to stay empty??? Seems to me I should be able to put food in there, don't you think?? I'm pretty sure I'll be calling you again before the warranty expires and in that case, I'll want a NEW fridge because there will be nothing to fix.
A new appliance should not require repairs after 7 weeks of ownership. This fridge was actually the second one received as the first one arrived with dents in the front door and had to be sent back. The second fridge was delivered with no cosmetic damage but stopped working after only 7 weeks. In addition, it took a week to schedule a warranty repair visit and a further 10 days to get a part to repair the fridge. All in all, not a great experience to date.
This refrigerator is a great disappointment!! Poorly constructed Everything is small and awkward! Crispers are too small and very low to the ground. Almost breaks you back trying to reach items anywhere in the fridge. Only 2 shelves no dividers. Things fall over when trying to reach items! Feet protrude so always stubbing toes!! Can't wait to get rid of it!!
