It's basic, but who needs all those gadgets for a garage fridge/freezer. It's a great size to store those items you don't use everyday. Ours did arrive with paint rubbed off at the very top; we opted not to have it replaced but the offer was there.

We have had it for 3 weeks now and we are very pleased with the purchase. The refrigerator and the freezer have plenty of a space to store the overflow from our kitchen appliance. The refrigerator is also very efficient. It does. It take much to run this refrigerator, even with its location being in the garage. Very happy with our purchase, a six month review will follow.

We had a very large side by side that was in our garage for about 5 years but it just didn't like the extreme heat we are having in NC...when it died we had to buy a new one ASAP. The only thing we overlooked was the shelving...we had to buy shelf liner so that nothing falls over.
