Bought these to help with Achilles heel problem, needed to have slip on winter boots that fit more like a shoe. I can put an arch support in it and still have a snug fitting boot that lets me slip in and out of. Pretty warm and comfortable in - 10 temps so far
Love the boot now, didn't like them at first, they hurt my feet on the first hour, but now they are fine. Super easy to put on, a little bit harder to take out, suitable when you need to go out fast and it snowy outside. great protection againts water.
We love our Bogs. They last us through three boys.
I was generally pleased with the product. It is a sturdy product and I especially like the mid-level height. However, the 11 was a little toolarge for me and I suspect the 10 would have been a little small. I inserted an insole to correct and this will do.
My son, age 10 had to move up to mens sizes. The gusset/throat of the mens sizes is wider and will allow those with high arches to pull them on where same size in boys will not. Unfortunately this comes with an heftier price tag that I would have liked to avoid for a couple more years. All in all we have been loyal Bogs boots wearers for about 5 years now because they give a quality product that keeps feet dry and warm. Which is the point. When your son can get them in camo - bonus!
This is my 4th pair of these boots (Classic Ultra High, size 9). Obviously I like the boot because I've kept coming back. However this iteration does not fit at all well. In particular, the right boot rubs painfully against the inside of my right ankle. Bottom line: I simply can't wear them if I have to walk further than a block or two. So disappointed!
nice design but extremely heavy
I have used your products for the past 20 years, growing oysters and rehabilitating beaches on the Puget Sound. The fit of your product is great but the durability and degree of waterproof is sorely lacking. This statement applies to the classic high and urban farmer models. My last pair of classic highs gave me perhaps 10% of expected wear before the seams failed. I am trying the classic mids and Sauvie boot currently. You are very close to losing a customer who has spent a lot of money on your products. If these boots also fail then Muck, LaCrosse or Xtratuf will get my footwear money
I was very happy with Bogs previously, but since COVID their customer service has taken an incredible dive. From either being non-responsive or just flatly not helpful, it's insane to think that people working from home could result in such a decline in effort and care. The lack of help landed me on this book, which is just frankly not enough for what I need. "Ultra" high, is not really very high at all, especially when considering the handle loops take off a couple inches. I ordered two different pairs today to see if I could land on what I need without their assistance. Hoping they can turn it around.
One foot was way bigger than the other, so I sent back and received another pair that were the same never had this with any other boots. To return them it will cost me 35 dollars shipping, so I will never order anything on sale from this company again.
