Frigidaire - 250 Sq. Ft. 6,000 BTU Window-Mounted Air Conditioner - White

Only used it a couple of times .Satisfied so far.Quiet

I bought a new Frigidaire A.C. as my last one gave up the ghost after ONLY 35 years! Just as in "Murphy's Law" it rolled over & quit on a Friday evening just as the Heat wave arrived. I couldn't believe it but the new one arrived in only two days. It's churning away now making yours truly a very cool customer. Easy installation, quiet operation, simple controls. What else do I need. My beer 's cold!

Happy with purchase of 6000 btu ac. Very quite., uses remote.weighs about 38 pounds. Delivered by UPS. Bottom of box was pretty well beat up but ac was not damaged. Came much quicker than expected by one week. It came in two days. Keeps room comfortable. I use a small fan to pull in cool air to the bedroom. Makes a big difference and it was also sixty dollars less.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed this air conditioner in a window that is only 19" wide. So I did not use the side panels. I cut pvc trim board to fill the gaps on the side. So far the unit works great for my roughly 210 sq. ft. room.

I like that the fins can be positioned up/down and left/right. Here's hoping it stays operational and consistent for years to come. Only time will tell…

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good window AC unit. A little louder than advertised but not bad. Cools quickly. We use the eco setting so it turns on and off as needed overnight but can still adjust it manually if room too hot/cold. Remote control is super handy, no climbing over furniture to adjust (best window is next to a bed, we keep remote on nightstand). The side flap things aren't sealed together so had a gap in one side but used supplied foam to fill gap and prevent bugs getting in. Good purchase, very satisfied with it. Cools a 250ish sq foot room well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a 5000 BTU Frigidaire unit that broke after 5 years. What pleasantly surprised me is how light and compact it is. The only downside is that the noise is more annoying than my last one—not necessarily louder, but higher pitched and buzzier. Maybe the lighter weight leads to this. Overall though it seems like a solid unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This window air conditioner keeps my 360 sq.ft. room very comfortable. This isn't easy in south Texas! My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the noise level is a little higher than I would like. I would buy it again, though.

AC was supposed to be delivered to my front door instead it was left at end of my driveway right before a huge storm. It's been 3 weeks and I'm still trying to get refunded for the product after it was picked back up. Very bad purchase from the very start to the current day! ..,,,still waiting for my money

Why is this unit so loud?! It's not quiet and it's not energy-efficient as another reviewer reported. I will be returning this obnoxiously loud ac unit. It cools, but it's not worth the price - I can't hear the baby monitor in the same room as the AC unit running.
