I love the room temp control. Great product!

Works for what I need it for. We converted a 2 car garage into a game room with pool table and gym equipment and needed air-conditioning. One's with remotes were ridiculously overpriced so we purchased this one. Delivery was great and we had it in window in under 5 minutes. There is a filter on the side so don't forget to slide it out and give it a quick rinse. We love it.

Happy with purchase of 6000 btu ac. Very quite., uses remote.weighs about 38 pounds. Delivered by UPS. Bottom of box was pretty well beat up but ac was not damaged. Came much quicker than expected by one week. It came in two days. Keeps room comfortable. I use a small fan to pull in cool air to the bedroom. Makes a big difference and it was also sixty dollars less.

I bought a new Frigidaire A.C. as my last one gave up the ghost after ONLY 35 years! Just as in "Murphy's Law" it rolled over & quit on a Friday evening just as the Heat wave arrived. I couldn't believe it but the new one arrived in only two days. It's churning away now making yours truly a very cool customer. Easy installation, quiet operation, simple controls. What else do I need. My beer 's cold!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this 2nd Frigidaire 6,000 BTU Window Mounted Air Conditioner to replace a Kenmore 6,000 BTU unit. We are using the same model 6,000 BTU unit in a different part of the house and a 10,000BTU similar unit for the living room/dining room /kitcken. It seems quiet enough for a bedroom. It appears to provide enough cooling It was easy to install. I typically remove the cover(s) and clean the coils and inside of the unit each spring before they are installed, the construction of these units makes this a straight forard task.

This AC is okay. Assembly is fairly easy and it's self-explanatory on how to use it. I also don't know why folks say it's loud; it's not at all. It does not, however, get super cool. It's cool enough for a small bedroom but if you're expecting arctic temperatures, this is not the AC for you. I also wish the front temperature display wasn't so bright. I'm using it for my bedroom and it's blinding. The remote indicates you can turn the light off but I haven't been able to get it to work.

I just had this installed yesterday in the guest room and it seems to be cooling well enough. Can't use the remote as whenever it even gets touched, it changes the temp on the unit to 62 instead of what I have it set at, which is usually 78. It looks nice in the window. I will update this review if anything changes.

AC was supposed to be delivered to my front door instead it was left at end of my driveway right before a huge storm. It's been 3 weeks and I'm still trying to get refunded for the product after it was picked back up. Very bad purchase from the very start to the current day! ..,,,still waiting for my money

Why is this unit so loud?! It's not quiet and it's not energy-efficient as another reviewer reported. I will be returning this obnoxiously loud ac unit. It cools, but it's not worth the price - I can't hear the baby monitor in the same room as the AC unit running.

It's make too much noise .. take little time to cool your small room
