works great, on a 113 degree day in California it kept our house at 70 degrees

Putting together was a bit of a challenge as instructions aren't as forthcoming as they could have been. (part # should coincide with directions on assembly) Other than that, this unit is amazing and am happy with it.

The controls are different from the older one but this unit works just as good as the older one. Looking forward to many years of good service as I received from the old one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to buy a new unit because my 8 year old units compressor would not start and I did not have the luxury of time to repair it. The older unit had a temperature differential of 2 degrees in remote mode. The new unit is 6 degree's which is not a very acceptable range. I plan on talking to someone about this. Otherwise it is working ok. On my older unit I found out the compressor relay is not operating. I replaced the relay and the relay driver ulc2003 ic. I'm hoping that this will fix my issue. The thermistors seem to test ok . Around 7k ohms and change with heat and cold. It would be nice to have some technical support from Frigidaire.
