Frigidaire 36 Inch Counter Depth Freestanding Side by Side Refrigerator with 21.4 Cu. Ft. Total Capacity FRSG2115AV

We bought this fridge 8 months ago, and are really very happy with it. We replaced an old side by side, regular size Whirlpool fridge, thinking that due to the counter depth we would lose space. Now, that we are using the fridge reasonable time, we found out that there is more space in this counter depth model that there was in our old bigger fridge. Temperature is always consistent in fridge and freezer. It freezes things very fast. I would highly recommend this fridge to anyone looking for a side by side fridge. The kitchen has noticeable more space due to the counter depth size.

We have had this fridge for about a month now, really room inside, shelves are nice and deep. Only complaint is that the shelf heights are to few and spaced out the heights of teh shelves don't match up for regular products, so we ended up having to lay items down. Could have more shelves inside and less empty space that you cannot use.

I've had this fridge for less than a month and so far I love it! It looks modern, fits nicely in my kitchen, and keeps everything cold. I especially love the side-by-side freezer because I meal prep and freeze meals flat in Ziploc bags—the shelves make it easy to organize them like a filing cabinet. It's also very quiet, and setup was easy as long as you level it properly so the doors seal. I wish the door pockets were a little deeper and that it came with freezer organizers, but overall this is a big upgrade from my old top-freezer fridge. I'd definitely recommend it!

I love everything about this appliance! Best refrigerator/freezer I have owned.

Ironically, I used to work for Frigidaire under General Motors back in late of 1960's til 1978. Got laid off after Frigidaire was sold to another corporation. Much different and more modern now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a refrigerator without icemaker and water dispenser to put in my storeroom in the garage. It's working great. Since it is a counter depth model, it fit through the door easily.

I love this side-by-side refrigerator. It replaced a side-by-side of similar exterior dimensions, but for some reason, this new Frigidaire holds more. It is probably due to the organization. The door shelves are nice and deep and hold about everything except for a gallon of milk. The double crisper is fantastic. It is super-super quiet - it's been running for a few days and I've never heard it running. I love the wheels on the base, the unit will be easy to pull out and clean behind. I have but one complaint about the unit - when installed, the fridge tilted upwards in the front i.e. lower in the back and higher in the front. The problem is, there is no height adjustment for the back of the unit - only on the front. I ended up cutting a piece of board and screwing it to the floor in the back of the refrigerator space, so the back of the refrigerator would roll up 1/4" higher. Now it sits perfectly with just a slight tilt to the back - as required. If I didn't have a wood workshop, I don't know how I could have fixed this problem without hiring someone. That is why I only gave the fridge four stars - but I still recommend, as long as you know about this issue...

Just got this a few days ago. Sleek and spacious. Hoping to have this one for a long time!

We bought this as there are only very few side by side with no water and ice dispensers. Fridge is exactly what we want, simple and counter depth. But glass shelves very flimsy, seems easy to crack, bottom part not bright enough as there is only one light at the top part. Also not truly counter depth, it's out 3 inches though we pushed it all to the back.

Got this refrigerator 6 months ago, in Dec. 2025. The Freezer doesn't freeze anymore and the refrigerator doesn't get cold anymore. What a disappointment, FRIGIDAIRE sure has went down in quality. I will not recommend FRIGIDAIRE to anyone anymore.
