Definitely buying this one again when i need another one

This is the second one of this model we have bought. The first basically quit working. Not all together but from what we could diagnose ourselves the sensor that tells it when it’s full of ice failed. Therefore, it wouldn’t shut off and would keep making ice until it ran out of water causing the ice basket to overflow. This was a problem when leaving it unattended. The owners manual had no reference to this issue that we could find nor could we find anything online about it. We ran that thing non-stop for about 2 1/2 years and loved it! We feel like we definitely got our money’s worth. That is why we replaced it with the exact same model rather than trying to have it repaired. We have kept the old one to bring out during holidays or different gatherings we will have that require additional ice as it still works great just doesn’t know when to shut off. The only negative comment I have about the new one is even though it performs the same, it is considerably louder running than the old one. I don’t know why. We don’t like that but are getting used to it.

I bought this to use in a small cafe space that serves some drinks over ice. As long as I start the icemaker with plenty of time before I open, I have plenty of ice. I also use gallon freezer bags and freeze any ice that the machine makes which I don't use. Then, I can have that ice ready if I need it early on in a shift. Highly recommend for specific needs.

I bought this last month. I searched for the features I needed for my family. My inside fridge does not make ice it doesn't use a filter so we dicided not to hook it up to the water line. It makes huge ice cubes therefore you don't have to keep running it for hours at a time.

Got tired of replacing ice maker in 6 year old Kenmore. Tried smaller Ice maker and it worked (s) well, but had to empty the basket every 45 min.. Thought I would upgrade to a larger unit. This unit can provide 3 days of ice in a few hours. Only problem, I can only get it to make large ice. Won't return, because I need it here.

We got this about 2 weeks ago. So far we have found we just use it about once s week & fill up ice container in fridge & zip loc bags. It is bigger than I thought, but found the right spot for it. Wish there was more of an insulated area where Ice drops, but we did a lot of research & very happy!

Wow! What an industrial looking life machine. Looks as though it is built to last. And looks way more expensive than it really is. Only issue is, when the ice bin is full and removed, the machine shuts off. I have to unplug it and then plug it back in for another cycle of ice making to begin.

Ice always available, nice! Little larger than expected but it works great on the counter. It has an issue with making the small ice, it gets stuck then almost shoots out. It works well on the Med and Large Size. Not a lot of difference in the MEDIUM and Large. The sensor doesn’t seem to light up in a timely manner. The machine will start making a noise and when you check it’s extremely low on water. Overall I like the machine but I worry it is going to overheat due to sensor issues.

It makes ice and that's great because we haven't had regular ice in almost 15 years....water in our area wouldn't work for a regular ice maker in the fridge. It does have to be reset often....seems it won't consistently make ice the right size...doesn't always come out of the ice maker solid frozen. But I just reset it and it works again.....

I have bought three of these and All of them Leak underneath and it take three months to Receive a Replacement and you have to Ship it at your own cost ( $120 ) to California. It is made by Curtis International and their Customer Service is Horrible. Do Not Buy this Item.
