Arrived on time, blows cold, easy to use, easy to install. 8,000 btu unit in a small 96 square foot tool shed converted into a "man cave" so it should be plenty enough for the rough florida summer. love the (dry) feature which removes the humidity out of the room. Only question is how long will it last? But im about to purchase the extended warranty and so far ,so good.

Happy Cool Customer

Janet2025Kai June 21, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Presently enjoying the absolutely best air conditioner from Frigidaire! It's Sunday, 90 degrees out and I am lucky to have a cool, comfortable, quiet, amazing air cooling conditioner to help make my day absolutely amazing! It'll be great to enjoy this all summer long! It is well made, a higher quality than others so I know I can count on it to work for a few summers! Great job Frigidaire! Please continue making high quantity products!

Quiet and Cools Great

Bigsquish June 9, 2025

Well designed, quiet, and very easy to install. Found the Eco mode not that great, and just preferred just using the “Cooling” mode all the time, which means the fan runs all the time, which is fine with me, since it's so quiet. I believe the thermostat calibration is oof, and needed to set the temperature at 68 degrees to achieve a 72 degree room, which is fine. No complaints.

8000 Btu model

Zachary April 25, 2024

At first I was worried this unit sucked because it wasn't getting that cold in my room. It was only getting to mid 50's or low 60's out. But I wanted a cold room. It wasn't getting cold though. And my bedroom is in the sq ft allowance. But the temperature hit closer to 70 today for the first time and sunny out and this unit has my room freezing cold. The hotter temperature must set the thermostat off more and keeps the ac running and not just the fan. This unit could freeze a 350 sq ft room as advertised. Great quality unit in all aspects. If anyone says otherwise, there unit is defective. This AC unit is great. Remote is simple and buttons on unit are quality too. Trust the sale price.

new air conditioner

koolkat78 June 13, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This air conditioner replaced one that was at least 25 years old, so I would have been surprised if it wasn't more efficient. I bought it for a small bedroom and it does the job. I like having a remote for it and the eco setting is great. It isn't silent, but also not so loud that it makes sleeping difficult.

Cold, cold, cold

JL559 August 9, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this window air conditioner for a spare bedroom but was amazed at how well it cooled. This small air conditioner cools my entire upstairs. The only downside was it was supposed to have WiFi and work with Alexa but it does not, hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

Stopped working after it rained.

anonymous May 5, 2025

I've had this air conditioner for a week. It stopped working after it rained. Waited a few days and there's no air coming out and sounds like there's water bubbling inside.

Feels like it's thinking about cooling

floridamama May 25, 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely louder than I expected. There's this vibration/drainage type noise that makes it sound like it's working overtime, and it's not the easiest to sleep with in the background. I need fan noise to sleep always have, but this is more of an uneven, distracting sound than a steady one. Cooling wise, it's just not hitting like I thought it would. My last 6k BTU unit from a different brand kept my room feeling like an ice box at 70 on cool mode (same setting I'm using now with this, but this feels more like 78). That one ran basically nonstop through Florida heat for about 5 years and stayed ice cold until it started getting mold otherwise I'd probably still use it. I went with this one because of all the good reviews and the bigger name, so I'm a little surprised so far, especially for the price. To be fair, I literally just got it today so I'm gonna give it a chance. Just sharing first impressions in case it helps someone else, and I'm open to any tips to make it quieter or cool better and if it doesn't cool well during the next few days of this start of summer heatwave I'll have to return.

California proposition 65 warning

Lois April 10, 2024

This Frigidaire window air condition did not show the California proposition 65 warning in the description on line , however when I received the product it has the warning in big letters. I have called Walmart regarding a return to have Frigidaire mail me a label and for Frigidaire to have this product picked up. I don't have a printer for the label and I have to start all over again to purchase a window air condition. I almost exclusive buy from Walmart on line because Walmart products or the third party products show the warning, I am 82 years old and I can not take chances regarding the 65 warning. I am looking forward to Frigidaire mailing me the label and setting up a pickup for this item. Again Walmart have already talked to Frigidaire. I am very disappointed and have to start over again before it gets too hot here in Houston, Texas. Please expedite the return (mail label and setting up a return) . Thank you.
