[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 2 weeks ago and am so glad I did. I have Frigidaire ACs in every room and a Frigidaire refrigerator. I made the mistake of buying a Fredrich ac first for my bedroom only because I wanted to fill the whole space of the through the wall sleeve and I wanted wifi control. That thing was horrible it fit perfectly but did not cool like the older Frigidaire AC I have. I tested them all 5000 btu 1400 btu and the new 8000 btu Fredrich. both the 5 & 1400 btus came down to 42 - 43 degrees the new Fredrich 54. returned it and got the Frigidaire that I should have gotten to being with. So I don't have wifi controls that's okay I have a very good cooled down room. There are some new features on this new AC as well very good features. I keep it at 74-76 low cool and its freezing some times that I have to turn it up, mostly at night. Love it, Love it, Love it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My home has a room over the garage that usually does not cool very well, so we mostly used it as a storage area. Once I installed the window ac unit, to my surprise it became the most comfortable room in the house. The temperature in the room is great, the room now has a daybed, television, and toys. It is also my favorite room for the grand kids to play, watch television, and have fun. This ac cools this room so well. I highly recommend this window air conditioning unit!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this unit for my mother as her apartment was extremely hot with a sudden heat wave this August. My husband and I installed it into the wall opening with all the attachments for a proper fit. We turned it on and it immediately started to cool down her home. So far, it is running nicely and continues to keep my mother comfortable. Thank you Frigidaire, for making quality products. This one replaces a very older model of the same brand. I know I can trust this name to make a dependable air conditioner.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this over a month ago to replace an old unit, the selection was made based on the great features: energy saving, remote control, etc, it arrived well packaged and so far the A/C unit is performing great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as the original one I purchased was on back order. I have a 26 inch wide sleeve so this one fit but I had to use the trim kit it came with to fill in that gap. Overall it's a great air conditioner that is not too loud. I leave it on all day on eco mode and just change the temperature throughout.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I definitely trust this brand a lot as the first one I bought was 11 years ago. The AC still working but the electrical cord runs out, that's when I decided to get another one and make sure is the same trusted brand.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the prior model of this Frigidaire 8,000 BTU unit and the only issue was there was some compressor noise, which seems to be improved in this latest model. I was disappointed that the prior model only lasted 6 years, however. I hope this one lasts longer.
I bought this unit a month ago, and it has worked well these hot summer days. Be aware, though, that the heigth and the depth are greater than specified by the manufacturer (H: 14 3/4'', D: 20 3/4''). I had difficulties to fit it into the existing sleeve in my apartment and to close the door of the built-in cover.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] not sure if the ac, me or the crazee weather we've been having. still trying to figure out if the ac is working properly. too bad they do not have service to come and check. not sure if another ac will be a frigidaire .
This is not a review of the air conditioner. It's a review of Walmart and their service. I ordered an 8000 BTU air conditioner and they sent me a 10,000 BTU unit. They're now sold out so I will be forced to pay $200 more dollars for a similar unit at another big box store. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT WALMART AGAIN.
