We love the design of this fridge - simple and elegant! It is the most practical fridge we've ever bought - finally a fridge that is easy to clean! Plenty of space, great arrangement of the shelves, and love that the freezer is 2 door and NOT a pull-out drawer like all the other fridges. We LOVE this fridge and just hope we never have mechanical/electrical problems with it. The BEST fridge out there in our opinion!
We bought this fridge in July ,2019 for our Motorhome. It was the only fridge that would fit in the space where our old one was. Anyway today ( Feb, 2022) found a lot of ice built up behind the 2 drawers on the back wall & in the vents. Any idea why this would happen?
We just bought this fridge last weekend. It fits perfectly with our kitchen layout. However, we noticed how dangerously hot the outside walls were when the motor started running. It stayed that hot for about 4 hours until the inside temperature setting was reached. It has cooled down since, but it appears that every time the fan runs the wall heats up again. Is this normal or should we be concerned?
I've only had this fridge for 24 hours and it's already making the loud grunting noises that I read on other people reviews. I thought I would get off lucky and maybe I would get a good fridge, but this will be going back. What is the problem with this Frigidaire? How can you possibly produce a fridge that is this noisy? You also cannot put anything tall like a jug of milk in the fridge, it has to go in the doors. There's not much flexibility for the shelf heights , couple Inches max. Only 2 crispers PROS very sleek looking Roomy freezer Nice lighting Well priced
I've bought it around 5-6 months ago and I'm genuinely considering getting rid of it. While it does look great, it's way to noisy. This fridge makes so much noise and is almost always making it that it's really annoying. The worst part is that it can be heard even from my living room. While that might seem trivial, imagine watching a movie/tv show/gaming and you reach and quiet moment, well that Fridge sure will remind you it's on and instantly take you of that moment in the scene. I've tried calling them only to get generic answers which lead absolutely nowhere and he didn't even seem to care. I actually felt like I was bothering him with my "issue". I then tried their email support which required filling a lengthy questionnaire only to never receive a reply back. So much for their great support. At this rate, I'm pretty sure if things don't change I will simply sell it and buy another brand.
I bought this fridge a few months ago and have been noticing the loud noises. I have an open concept space with a common kitchen and living area, and I notice loud noises coming from the fridge when I'm trying to read or relax in my living area and this is very annoying. I do not recommend buying this fridge as it can really ruin your living space with the loud noises.
Shelves are not adjustable and too low to hold a gallon jug or a brita. Freezer is too small to hold a frozen pizza due to the separation of the doors. Not functional as a fridge unless you plan to only chill a few beverage in small cans. The home I purchased had the two missing door shelves that may have had the capacity to hold a gallon jug? Instead I'm left with too small for the gallon and then this weirdly small shelf that might fit a ketchup packet but is also too small for mustard or ranch dressing. It's maybe a prop fridge? Everything is way too small to serve a practical purpose. I'll likely have to buy a new fridge for this house.
I bought this refrigerator on April 18,2020 , it was great, but now it started yo make loud and weird noises, very disturbing, I hear it even in my bedroom and it is not a year yet since I bought it. I hope that I will not have a problem returning or replacing it.
bought this fridge and a month later it was making noises that the repair person couldn't figure out - during pandemic they didnt want to come out unless it was an emergency and then the warranty period was over and so was my hopes of a working fridge - they wont do anything even though their website said not to bother them for NON ESSENTIAL / NOISE issues
Since day one, the unit makes a horrible groaning and boiling sound that can be heard in the other room when the compressor is active. One can accept minor noise, but this is over the top. A manufacturers repairman who attended was shocked by how loud it was. It sounds like the manufacturer won't replace the fridge, but instead wants to install some sound deadening material. You'd literally have to wrap the fridge in the material to deaden this sound.
