Frigidaire FFCD2418UB 55 DBA Black Built-in Dishwasher

I was in the market for a new dishwasher but didn't want to deal with financing or unnecessary features. I just wanted something reliable that gets the job done—no bells and whistles. A big priority for me was finding a dishwasher with an easily accessible and simple-to-clean filter. While I'm not expecting this unit to last 20 years, it has exceeded my expectations so far. It's efficient, straightforward, and perfect for my needs. Overall, I'm more than satisfied with this purchase!

I purchased this dishwasher over a year ago and I am very pleased with the looks and performance ! It's quiet and it cleans all my dishes , even if left overnight! I am so pleased with the quality that I bought a new Frigidaire gas range that also performs exceptionally well. I will definitely buy their products again.

Almost a month since i got this machine. So far so good. The only 2 negatives things which is not a big deal, 1st is cutlery box. İt is small for me only there compartement. 2nd is design of racks. Some of them shorter some of them higher. They like are assigned for specific things. İf you have to put all same size plate at the same time, the ones you put in front, bend or not stay stable because of shorter racks

I bought this several months ago and run it about 3-4 times a day due to our large family. It works great and has allowed me to focus more on my family. When I phoned about an issue they were fast and repairs were completed in a couple days and it is working well again.

This dishwasher seems to wash the dishes fine, it's a bit noisy, more than our previous unit. We only had it for 3 months, now the top rack wheel bushings are broke on one side. It can be an easy fix, but will have to wait for the repair man until next week because it's still under warranty. The plastic parts look cheap, I hope there is a better option to replace them. In all not a good start for this dishwasher, appliances are not made to last anymore. It was very hard to get to talk to Figidaire and then to a repair company, I could have fixed this issue in 10 minutes if I had the parts, but wasted hours on the phone to talk to a person because it's still under warranty.

Dishwasher works good, it gets the dishes clean. My only issue is that it doesn't actually dry the dishes. Because of this, its constantly wet and humid on the inside, causing it to smell even though we have only had it for a week. Being in a small condo, this means it stinks up our condo every time we open it. Super disappointing, wouldn't recommend.

Out of the box the unit did not work. The sprayer pump was not operating and the unit door is not sealing properly. We are awaiting for replacement parts. We have yet to be able to actually use our new dishwasher. It came as a surprise to not have a working unit out of the box. We hope Frigidaire reaches out to help rectify the situation so that we can trial this product and leave an actual product review. We are unable to recommend this product as we have not been able to use our unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unless we do the heavy wash setting, the dishes were not getting clean. I am told to scrape, not rinse my plate but then debris would get all over, especially on my glasses. We also knew that this wasn't smudge proof but even with my own cleaner OR the special Frigidaire stainless steel cleaner, the finger prints and smudges are not going away completely. I would not recommend this.

After 10 months, this piece of junk fell apart. The latch went, the control panel totally malfunctioned & now nothing works. We went through our warranty & it's been a nightmare to deal with. After 2 separate visits by a third party company, with 2 weeks between each visit, we're now 2 months in with no working dishwasher, apparently waiting for parts. We are likely going to have to get a new one as we can't go much longer (large family) & they have done nothing to resolve this nor will anyone get back tobus. Save your money & look to a new brand. You get what you pay for & I regret going with fridgidaire. NEVER again.

My husband and I bought this model Aug 11/2019. 2 months ago the inside drum cracked on both sides. Called Fridgaire, was directed to ATCO appliance in Edmonton to have a tech look at the cracks. ATCO sent an email to Frigidaire to ask for help. The reply was they would not fix it. I will never buy another Fridgaire product again.
