Frigidaire FFCD2418UW 55 dBa White Built-in Dishwasher

I was in the market for a new dishwasher but didn't want to deal with financing or unnecessary features. I just wanted something reliable that gets the job done—no bells and whistles. A big priority for me was finding a dishwasher with an easily accessible and simple-to-clean filter. While I'm not expecting this unit to last 20 years, it has exceeded my expectations so far. It's efficient, straightforward, and perfect for my needs. Overall, I'm more than satisfied with this purchase!

I've had this machine for over a month now and couldn't be happier. Very quiet and relieved that it doesn't make a sound when it's finished because our dogs used to go crazy! I was toying with trying out a brand I'd never heard of as they were cheaper, but so glad I went with a trusted brand like Frigidaire in the end.

Very pleased with my purchase the only thing we would improve is the space for the utensils, even though the knives and forks come out sparkling while being crowded in the space provided, this product is very quiet, my wife is very pleased with the dishwasher that is a plus.

We've had our dishwasher for just over 3 weeks and it's doing a fine job! Might be a little too soon to do a review. Simple to use, gets everything clean, and so quiet! However, it uses a lot of rinse aid, even using the lowest dispenser setting, so we're getting spotting after several washes. All in all, a good product.

This dishwasher seems to wash the dishes fine, it's a bit noisy, more than our previous unit. We only had it for 3 months, now the top rack wheel bushings are broke on one side. It can be an easy fix, but will have to wait for the repair man until next week because it's still under warranty. The plastic parts look cheap, I hope there is a better option to replace them. In all not a good start for this dishwasher, appliances are not made to last anymore. It was very hard to get to talk to Figidaire and then to a repair company, I could have fixed this issue in 10 minutes if I had the parts, but wasted hours on the phone to talk to a person because it's still under warranty.

Pros: The dishwasher is quieter than many others. The selection option are straightforward and easy to understand. Cons: Sometimes, all items are not dry in the morning. Also, have found food burnt on the pots instead of cleaned, and then they need to be cleaned manually.

Out of the box the unit did not work. The sprayer pump was not operating and the unit door is not sealing properly. We are awaiting for replacement parts. We have yet to be able to actually use our new dishwasher. It came as a surprise to not have a working unit out of the box. We hope Frigidaire reaches out to help rectify the situation so that we can trial this product and leave an actual product review. We are unable to recommend this product as we have not been able to use our unit.

After 10 months, this piece of junk fell apart. The latch went, the control panel totally malfunctioned & now nothing works. We went through our warranty & it's been a nightmare to deal with. After 2 separate visits by a third party company, with 2 weeks between each visit, we're now 2 months in with no working dishwasher, apparently waiting for parts. We are likely going to have to get a new one as we can't go much longer (large family) & they have done nothing to resolve this nor will anyone get back tobus. Save your money & look to a new brand. You get what you pay for & I regret going with fridgidaire. NEVER again.

My husband and I bought this model Aug 11/2019. 2 months ago the inside drum cracked on both sides. Called Fridgaire, was directed to ATCO appliance in Edmonton to have a tech look at the cracks. ATCO sent an email to Frigidaire to ask for help. The reply was they would not fix it. I will never buy another Fridgaire product again.

2.5 weeks attempting to get it fixed Machine runs cycle but water doesn't drain First repair technician came, his last call of the day on a Saturday . Didn't open or test anything just listened for a noise. Then said it wasn't the pump and left Lines were checked by us , disconnected the drain line ran cycle nothing coming out. Called back to get another service call through warranty no one available for a week. They have to get company to come from an hour and a half. Such a painful process to get a dishwasher working. I don't recommend, I will deal with other brands
