I bought this a few weeks ago and it is working great...only challenge was programing the temperature...it will also work as refrigerator and it is not real clear how to set it for one of the other. Make sure you have it programed the way you want it before you put food in the unit. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
We have had this freezer for about 3 months. So far works great and holds so much. Love the adjustable racks and bright lights. The only downfall is the door makes a terrible squeaking noise. Husband says the door is too full but there is hardly anything on the door. Looking on the bright side, nobody is going to eat all the ice cream without the house knowing! We ordered this in July and finally received it in October. Everything had shut down because of Covid and orders were back logged. I love how large this freezer is and the shelving. I would give it 5 stars except it is so hard to open. I have to use both hands, one on freezer side next to freezer door and one hand on freezer handle. I see by other comments that I am not alone in this matter. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
freezer keeps great temps top shelf -10 degrees and bottom shelf -10 degrees , plenty of room for a whole Beef . seems quiet enough , located in the garage, i just wish it had a little more adjustment in the shelves , other than that i am well pleased. Freezer delivered and plugged in on 11/07/2020. It would be nice if the wire racks had a lip on the end of the rack so the frozen containers didn't slide off the shelf when I open the freezer door. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My new freezer replaced a 40-year old 22-foot chest (still running!). But the upright is so much easier to organize and locate items. Also gave me more floor space for a much-needed storage rack. Only wish the door could open left instead of right. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Holding temp with very little change over first 3 weeks that I have had it. Extending the vertical height reduces floor space, but still allows me, at 5'3” to easily reach the top shelf. Really wish there was a door handle though. I have to put my foot on the base of the freezer to keep it in place and then pull the door R open with my hand. Sometimes it takes both hands to open it. Bought this 3 weeks ago. Seems like a great freezer so far. The only complaints I have is it doesn't have a exterior indicator light to indicate that it is running. It also has the handle inset in the door. This makes it harder to open vs a handle on the front of the door. My wife has trouble opening it sometimes. The instructions book is not very clear especially setting up temperature control. Also the serial is not on the right side of the freezer, on was on the back lower left sid. I also wish the door shelves were wider. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I purchased this in 11/20 it worked for roughly 9-10 months. They sent me to a repair service who has given me the run around for 5 months. Only to tell me they don't service my area anymore (unique repair services). Now I'm back to square one with a broken freezer, and a new repair company. 9-10 months working freezer, 5 months with a broken freezer. Pretty frustrating after loosing food and buying a “name brand” freezer.
