It was easy to order and it came fast and in good condition!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very good AC, although 1st unit delivered to us did not cool, the compressor was faulty. This was discovered after we installed, which was not a simple process. But the replacement unit has been flawless.
I just replaced some older units of the same model and wow these are just great units. The other units being replaced still work but they're 25 plus years old. The new units are so quiet and I love the fact that I can see the operation of the unit through the app.and that I can just slide out the old units and the new ones slide back in without replacing the casing . I will be buying two more to replace the other two units that are used in classrooms at an Elementary school where I volunteer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first I was skeptical on buying the brand Frigidaire air conditioner. I had an incident with a freezer chest from Frigidaire a month before buying their air conditioner. They did reimburse me for buying a new freezer chest replacement from them. The replacement is working just fine now. So after that I trusted the brand. I do not regret getting the Frigidaire air conditioner. It has a lot of great features. My main features is the wireless control. Capable of connecting to my Google home and to my Amazon Alexa. There is also an mobile App to control the air conditioner from anywhere. So far very happy with the air conditioner and keeping cool this hot summer. Thank you for very much Frigidaire.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced an older 12000 BTU unit and this one is soo much nicer. With fan on low it is super quiet and still cools very well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in an area that has been over 105 degrees Fahrenheit for the last 4 weeks, our AC went out in the middle of this heat spell. But we were able to purchase the Frigidaire 18,000BTU AC and now we are living more comfortably.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We I purchased the Frigidaire 18000 btu connected air conditioner for my apartment in 2021. The apartment is over 1000 square feet. The unit does a great job cooling it down. I love how it can be controlled from the app and operated even when you are not at home. No more coming home to a hot house! I liked it so much that I purchased a second unit for mom's apartment this year. Congrats Frigidaire on a great product which I highly recommend.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cools most of the entire first floor..... about 800 sq ft. A little loud when on high, but probably not any louder than most. Just started using the Wi-Fi and so far, so good.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have always had this size AC in our home since 1986. This is supposed to be energy saving. It is not due to the fact it does not dehumidify as it cools!!! The more moist the air the less cool it feels. This is simple logic!!! To get it to dry the air some it must be set at 69-68! Can get it down to 63-64%. Our home monitor shows it is to high! Of course it is! 50-55% is normal. And 68-69 is to cold and makes the AC run all the more harder! If set at a reasonable 72-73 the humidity will be 64-66%! This make anyone with breathing issue harder to breath. High humidity promotes mold growth! That high humidity one sweats when doing anything because the sweat is not evaporating our bodies work harder to get cool. These are simple scientific knowledge and logic! Have a inclination that the over reach of the EPA may have something to do with this. The lighted numbers are exceedingly small!! No way to see them from 5 feet away let alone across the room! The whole panel is in micro print with mini lights. At the least they should make the temp numbers big enough to read!! Very disgusted and disappointed!!
Okay, I bought this for my backyard shed/man-cave. I wanted the most powerful available. We'll start with an error on the advertisement's part: It uses a Large Tandem-type plug, which is kinda uncommon. And there is no official adapter so it'd work with a regular outlet. I thought that was something that should've been mentioned on the site somehow. Maybe a picture of the plug itself to avoid confusion. Okay. I wasn't deterred. I already had an electrician coming over to install an electrical packet for the shed. We got power, an outlet and the AC installed and plugged in. I turned it on and… the fan worked… And… that was it. Just the fan. I waited. I wanted to be patient. But after an hour, the fan still remained. No compressor, no AC. I got this model registered with Frigidaire and Electrolux via Customer Service. They concluded that the unit was still under warranty and is replaceable. I just have to put in a claim. They sent the link to my email. I tried to log in to their rac-claim portal and I got a “sign in failed” error. Just as bad, while the app on my phone shows the unit registered, it doesn't on the Frigidaire and Electrolux portals. Right now, I am debating on continuing looking around for a repairman that can do AC window units, or just washing my hands of the whole thing and just order a new AC unit with another manufacturer.
