I only have my washer 2 weeks but so are I am loving it. We have used it many times in 2 weeks because our previous set was broken ( different brand) and we had accumulated a lot of bedding and clothing in need of cleaning while waiting for our new product, on back order, to arrive. It is perfect for 2 very active retirees living in a condo bungalow. It is quieter than most newer brands and models. Enjoying the sensors and different cycles and heat settings for various fabrics and materials being laundered. Operation is very user friendly but I recommend one reading the manual and accompanying instructions for operating the appliance. They are very helpful.
Cottage life is less complicated when you don't have to haul laundry back home. This stackable unit fits just right in the cottage bathroom. It runs quietly and wow by the time the spinning is done in the washer, it takes next to no time to dry! There are numerous settings to address all fabric needs for efficient washing and drying.
We bought the unit 3 weeks ago. Initially we thought there was a problem with the washer fill cycle. After having it checked, it was found to be normal for this machine. It is quite noisy during filling but performs quite well. It replaced a unit that was 12 years old. We trust the new one will work just as long.
This combination washes and dries very well. It is a bit of a stretch to pull the clean clothes out of the tub its acceptable because of the good capacity. I would have rated this 5 stars but contrary to the manual the dryer alarm does not mute and is unreasonably persistent. Either the instructions are wrong or the programming has been changed. Very annoying 'feature' of an otherwise great pair of machines.
I bought this because my previous washer and dryer was a stacked Frigidaire Pro. I chose this one because of it's simplicity with no extra features that I don't need. Being my first purchase with a tower, I prefer a non-tower because the lid doesn't open all the way which makes it crowded reaching in to get clothes out. It does a good job cleaning. It's louder than expected though. Next time I'll go back to a stacked unit for easier access to the washer. It's average and the cost reflected that.
I e used this machine a few times and find the agitator extremely loud. Honestly it sounds like an animal in labour. I'm not exaggerating. Also the low level fill is too low. Medium is about right. Dryer is great. Washer is a True bummer. The way it fills is “fits and starts. It squirts for a while and then streams water into the drum. So noisy. If I had known I would not have purchased this machine.
Very loud washer. Makes thumping noise when filling with water. The intact of water is strange-for some reason it shoots water through the pipes for a few seconds then stops. This makes the pipes “jump”. Does this 3 times before filling machine. It will only fill with hot water on the full water level, as it always fills with cold water first, even when choosing hot. Why does it have this feature? A waste of water use. Every now and then it just stops functioning after filling with water I need to drain it and start over. There is an issue with the drum in the dryer and needs to be replaced already. On a positive note, the drain cycle works well as the clothes come out almost dry. I can also fit bulky items in both washer and dryer.
I have never had such an inefficient washer and dryer. They are both ruining my clothes with the vast amount of lint that they produce! I have tried everything the guide suggests to limit lint but nothing works. We have to vacuum out the lint dispenser area and inside the door every week. I also have a duster that I use to clean the inside of the dryer after every use! The only reason we bought it was because our laundry area has limited space. It really is the worst washer and dryer I have ever had and I've had a few!
I purchased this laundry centre 3 years ago, Feb. 2, 2023 and the fill hose recently developed a hole. Water would spill all over my condo floor as the machine filled up. The part is made of accordion shaped plastic. It should be made of a sturdier material as the tub fills twice for every cycle. The repair cost was quite expensive with the part, service fee, labour and taxes. This should not happen on a 3 year old machine. I'm very annoyed and will not recommend anyone purchase this machine.
It's the first time I bought on line instead of at store and I so regret it. Most would love the large washer but I have to get on toes and get half my body inside drum to get clothing out.( TMI but painful on the boobs !) It is LOUD. It knocks, stops go stops go ( it's level ) and it butts up to my neighbour's bedroom. I can't add an item while just water is filling. It does NOT clean well at all. And the odd part is that the dryer is so much smaller than the washer so can't dry the full load of wet clothing. It dries well but I still have lint and hair on my clothing.
