[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently visited our daughter in another state and she was doing the final finishing touches on her kitchen. As part of the remodel she added a Frigidaire drop down door microwave and my wife liked it so much, we purchased one as well. Upon arrival, I installed it and she absolutely loves its for its functions, good looks and how well it fits in the space. As it is said, a happy wife is a happy life.
This microwave continually blows fuses when opening the door, it has proved impossible to get an engineer out. Customer service is non existent. It is now out of warranty despite registering the fault within warranty. Do not buy or trust this company
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had very few choices of a microwave to fit in the space of our old GE microwave, but the Frigidaire looks and works as well and fits the space perfectly,
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really good microwave. Fitted perfectly on given measures. Looks great also.
We just bought our lovely home, there's 5 of us with 3 children, 12,10,8, I loved the look of this microwave oven. But as we started using it, we realized the door opening downwards and being above our wall oven is a terrible design. I'm short, and my middle and youngest have troubles getting things in and out. It has proved to be a hazard whilst taking hot items out. Using a stool is not ideal. It also does not beep when finished, and I have the setting to HIGH power and it still takes a long time to heat items up.
Drop down door is extremely inconvenient, with its installation over top of an in-wall oven. That inconvenience aside, the door switch on the microwave failed 14 months after it was installed (2 months past warranty). Considering this microwave doesn't even get used every day, it seems ridiculous that a switch would fail in this short a time, with this kind of price on it. My counter top microwave (from a large Japanese Brand) worked for 26 years without any issues, only to be replaced with this thing that bricked itself with a failed switch in just over 1 year.
Best even heating I've seen, microwave fits right into old cabinet
This is the best built in Microwave I've ever owned!!! Love it and would purchase it again 100%!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had to replace our GE built in microwave/convection oven (it came with the house). The cost for a similar model was not what we were prepared to spend. Considering I only used it for the microwave (never convection) I knew I didn’t need all the extras. Seaching I found the Frigidaire that met the specs, and it looked great. Install was easy, just plug it in, and slide it into place! Was so relieved that the price tag was close to $1000 less that the GE. I have used it for a few weeks, and love it!! Heats so well, and looks amazing! Exactly what I needed! My only (slight) complaint is that the popcorn button leaves a few too many unpopped kernels. 😂 I am a popcorn addict! Well if my only (slight) negative feedback is popcorn related, my life is prettty amazing! Thank you Frigidaire!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve only had it about three weeks, but the functionality is super. LOVE the sensor reheat feature. That’s my favorite so far. So far we’re very happy … other than the general price of these built-in microwaves. That’s tough. Otherwise, we do love it and it looks great in the space.
