Have had the fridge for about a month now and it's been great. Love the soft close doors. Our other fridge was same style but doors were a pain in the butt. Either had to push hard to close or it would incessantly beep. The convertible fridge/freezer section is great, we have it set for deli as the snack drawers are so small.
We bought our new Frigidaire after our 10 yr old GE Profile died while we were on holidays. Our old fridge cave with the house and we never really have it any thought. However, when we were looking for a replacement fridge, the Frigidaire line up caught our attention. Things like started crispy drawers, split door for the two sided freezer and counter depth with no fiber print stainless steel finish checked all the boxes for is. We also felt the price point was extremely reasonable for what we were getting. It is nice to have a fridge that fits or needs and wants rather then adjusting to fit what the fridge offers.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this refrigerator for about two weeks, and so far I'm very pleased with it. The design is excellent—it's counter-depth, yet it doesn't sacrifice much storage space compared to a standard-depth model. One of my favorite features is the convertible lower-left compartment. Like many owners, I've set it up as a beverage section since I don't need a large freezer. It adds a lot of flexibility and makes everyday use more convenient. Another feature I really like is the soft-close doors. They close smoothly and quietly, and it's nice not having to worry about a door being left slightly ajar. The dispenser area is also well designed. Taller bottles fit comfortably under the water dispenser without needing to be tilted, which is something I appreciate more than I expected. The ice dispenser is noticeably faster than the one on my previous Samsung refrigerator. Overall, the refrigerator looks great, offers smart storage options, and performs well. Since it's a Frigidaire, I'm hopeful it will provide many years of reliable service. So far, it's been a great purchase.
I bought this fridge a month ago, and I really loved it. The style is clean and beautiful design. The 4 doors/compartments are perfect for us. Especially the 3rd door left side bottom is perfect if you need extra space for fridge or freezer as you can change it. I didn't hook up the water line for the first week, and it made a loud sound every an hour. I was quite worry; but it worked fine now (very quiet) after the water line is hooked up.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our kitchen has a center island requiring us to need a counter depth refrigerator. Traditional French door refrigerators would not work because their was not enough space to open the freezer draws that slide out and stand behind the draw and take stuff out. The four door model of this unit solved that problem. The smaller lower unit being designed to be either a refrigerator or freezer was a unique plus giving us flexibility to store more food in the refrigerator or freezer depending on our needs. Having the french doors on top gave us the ability to store larger food items that would not fit in the side by side refrigerator this one replaced.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this new fridge. Water and ice taste good. Really like the separate drink/freezer cabinet on the bottom left. Also the storage organization is good so my freezer section is not like a deep well anymore. Look forward to enjoy this for many years to come.
Frgidaire is nice looking Fridge have 2 beefs one if you put all doors shelves in it waste pace 2 had small dent in door but its being taken care of
We got this about 9 months ago, so thought it was time for a review. Overall we really like this refrigerator. It is well laid out and makes great use of the space considering that it is a counter-depth unit. Our favorite part is that it is has the bottom doors instead of the usual clunky drawers that most have these days. We love that the bottom is split into 2 separate compartments, with the right being a freezer and the left side can be set to either be a freezer or refrigerator at whatever temp you want. We use the bottom left for white wine and beer. There is one thing that we do not like and have read some other reviews mentioning this: the top right side door started to squeak and creak a few months after we go this. This is the largest door and has a lot of storage in it - but clearly the hinges are not adequate to comfortably handle the typical amount of items that any family would put in these storage shelves. We have to cut use of the in-door storage back so that we are not fully using it, and constantly shuffling heavier items out there. This reduces but does not eliminate the squeaking, and the concern is that it this will eventually cause the hinges to fail. This is clearly a design flaw and Frigidaire should really a fix (recall / on-site repair) for it, especially considering that this is not a cheap unit. Its a shame because otherwise it is such a great fridge especially if limited to counter depth. It looks great and is otherwise smartly designed. I have had people comment on how nice it is - but I tell them I can't recommend because of this issue.
So not but this from Walmart!!! This was the worst delivery experience I have ever had! They schedule one day, then change it at the last minute. I had to reschedule 3 times because of the delivery company used. I would have gladly paid $200 more at home depot in order to have a competent company to deal with. Stay away from Walmart for major appliances!!
The refrigerator went into Sabbath mode when cleaning the display. You have to push a combination of buttons to get it out (- button on the freezer side, + button on the refrigerator side. Spent over two hours finding this out. It shouldn't be this difficult to operate a refrigerator. Other issues are: -Several functions of the refrigerator take pushing multiple buttons at the same time. It is not intuitive. You shouldn't have to get the manual out every time you want to change something. -You have to open both upper doors to pull out the drawers on the left side. -There's two shallow compartments that are not accessible to the back. There's a slide door on the top giving you maybe a 6" opening but the compartment goes back around 12". It's around 2" deep. But is something goes to the back of this compartment, you have to turn your hand upside down to try and fish it out. Very awkward.
