Frigidaire Personal Evaporative Air Cooler & Fan with Removable Water Tank 3 Fan Settings EC100WF

Cools my little room down for hours. The water container was a little stiff at first but after a few uses it fits now though it's a little tough. Also if the water goes to low it makes a noise. What's that it's cheap but it does work even with its flaws. If you're broke it's a good solution if you have more money definitely invest in a better AC.

This is a very effective fan. It is very easy to operate as well. I was surprised at how much air it put out. It completely and effectively cools my living room and beyond. I really like that it has a remote so I can adjust it without having to stop what I'm doing and actually walk over to the fan to adjust the settings. I also like that you can choose whether to use it as a regular fan or to add the water tank for evaporative cooling. Right now the fan alone is enough, but on much hotter days the water feature will be awesome. A big bonus is the fact that it is on wheels, making it easy to move it from one room to another, depending on what part of the house I am in. It doesn't make much noise when it runs, which is important. And it's nice that the honeycomb cooling pad is easily detached and washed, eliminating the inconvenience and expense of replacing filters. Overall this is a terrific product and I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a fan.

I live in the desert, it is already in the 90s here which means we have to have the air on, but being that it's the desert it's also extremely dry meaning we also have to have a humidifier keep from waking up with scratchy throats and cracking lips. We've been using this Evaporative cooler in place of the fan and humidifier in our kids playroom during the day and in our bedroom at night and I am so impressed! It is keeping the room cool while also emitting a sort of mist into the air we are breathing. We have all woken up feeling better then we did before! The different settings it has are great for different times of day. I cannot day enough great things about this product.

It works well, except I find the water tank hard to push in once it's filled. And you have to make sure that the ice packs go in the proper side of the water tank. Love the size of the unit.

It isn't really what I need. I have a pretty big room with awkward windows so I can not use a window unit. I do usually like my room super cold. This is better than a fan not airconditioner for sure even with evaporative air it doesnt cool the entire room. I do really enjoy the natural settings though i thought that was interesting. Idk if its the heat or the evaporative air but i wake up sweaty.

I only gave it a 3 because it def Don't cool down 1 hole room (12x13) size . It does give off cold air with or without ice packs, but in order to feel it you need to be no more then 8-10 feet from it so yes it does work good to keep you cool but does not work well at cooling down at hole room with door shut even. I would order another because as I said it will keep your body cool as long as your in its distance better then any fan and it's quiet

Does not work as advertised. Tested for 3 days. 100sq ft? This thing could barely cool just me from 2 feet away let alone an entire small bedroom. Tried ice block that came with it, tried real ice, while the air coming out of the unit when on full fan, water on was cooler than the air in the room, it barely made it 2 feet and didn't do anything for the room except make it uncomfortably humid. Returning the unit tomorrow.

I had high hopes for this little unit after reading previous reviews! Unfortunately, it must've been damaged either during manufacturing or shipping process: the water compartment is extremely difficult to remove and will not shut completely after replacing, causing the pump to not work correctly and very loud water suction. I tried to order a replacement but none available. Will not get a refund until unit returned, so unable to purchase another (and heat wave expected next week my area.) I SO wish this cooler had been functional!

Highly disappointed. It does not cool the air. Cannot feel any difference. I have to have it right next to me and turned on high to feel anything. It does not cool the room at all - not one degree. I live in an arid climate where I am experienced with evaporative coolers and this one is useless. Hope to return it.

Well my product the compartment where you hold the water does not fit correctly into the unit when water is placed inside of it when it is empty it's shelves right into the unit so I might wind up sending it back I will give it one more chance right now I am not totally sold on the productp
