A quality product at a reasonable price. It does a great job and exceeded my expectations.
It cools really fast, I was able to install in just a few minutes. I like that it's not that loud. I have a fan that's louder.
I ordered this portable air conditioner a couple of weeks ago. At first I was skeptical because of reviews from other sources, but I decided to give it a whirl. Boy I'm glad that I did. I'm loving it. It keeps my bedroom nice and cool especially at night when the heat tends to rise. It cools the room down so well that I have to used the "fan" portion of it, if it gets too chilly. Please note that this devise is not intended for really large spaces because it's the smaller version. If you want to cool off your living room or your family room I recommend getting the larger model. Also, I purchased the 3 year warranty in case something goes wrong which so far it hasn't. I highly recommend this item. So far, it's worth every penny!
It just wasn't big enough. It is rated for an room of 18 X 18 for their advertised 350 sq ft. I used it in a much smaller room, but to be fair, the room had a wall full of windows and the sun was coming in. It was blowing cold and in a room with less windows, like a bedroom, it may have been just fine, Anyway, I returned it and looking as something else.
I received my unit on Wednesday the 23rd it's easy to use but don't know how to use without the vent hose it gets hot with the exhaust so the cooling it does is off set with the heat it puts out. I have no way to put exhaust hose on and let out window without a window in room. Maybe someone can give advice on how to get by that. Other than that it's a nice unit and cools very well till exhaust heat catches up
Works well, cools a 400 sq ft room extremely effectively. I have cats but have only had to clean the filters a few times since I got it 8 months ago. I live in California so it does run a few days every month probably, September was especially hot last year. I only gave it 4 stars because the remote is so bad. I click, it beeps, but doesn't turn on, I click again, it beeps again but doesn't turn on. I click more out of frustration and it turns on and off and finally after I'm about to chuck it across the room, it turns on. I tend to just get up and turn it on when I'm not working, I don't need that frustration, lol. Also, pay attention to the reviews about the hose, it does come loose easily, but it reattaches easily as well. Just be gentle and careful with it and you'll do just fine.
Works well; is very heavy and a major pain to get it up the stairs by myself. I plan to leave it upstairs and roll it into a corner. Looks good, works well otherwise.
I wish it were smaller /slimmer and I wish it wasnt as loud as it is , but its not terribly annoying. Cools down my medium size bedroom . Have only had it for two weeks and so far Im satisfied with it .
I purchased this portable AC unit primarily for one reason: You do NOT have to vent it out a window - or so it said on the Walmart website. In fact, I went back to double check and the Walmart site says Just plug-in and turn it on! Fortunately I always read the instruction manual before I start assembling. Both the manual and now I see on the side of the box it came in, it says Important! Requires window ventilation. I need a portable unit not one that is tethered to a window! I just saw that there was a review from some poor person who must not have vented it out a window and he said that it barely cooled the room because of all the hot air coming out of the exhaust! Anytime I spend $400 for anything I want zero problems. This is totally unacceptable.
We had issues from the compress from the start. A replacement was not available so we were given a refund via a gift card.
