Frigidaire Purepour Water and Ice Refrigerator Filter PWF-1 (FPPWFU01)

This is the best price I have found for this name-brand refrigerator filter. It arrived quickly and was packaged very securely. The water flow and ice production have been perfect since installation.

The item was precisely what I ordered and at a much cheaper price than I usually pay. The box was wrapped in bubble wrap and the filter inside the box was still enclosed in plastic.

what I liked was it was a Lowe's product, sold by Walmart at a $20 savings! what I had trouble with was the extraction and reinsertion of the new one. the video showed the ease of process. the reality was otherwise, but eventual [my nephew ultimately did it]

BEWARE!! If we could give 0 stars we would. We were excited that they were on sale considering how expensive these filters can be, but you get what you pay for. Sent an email to the Seller so we will see what they do. We put the first one in after we had a previous one from another seller that had no problems. No problems with the Frig previously, so can't be that. First one from this seller leaked. So after that, we tried the second one. SAME THING! Both leaked horribly under the bottom slide out drawer. So if you bought one of theses you may want to pull out the drawer and see if you have ice underneath. Wish I would have taken pictures of it. But we were like ok the first one leaked, let's try the next one. SAME THING. See in the picture how the filter is wet. The first one was too but we wiped it off thinking it was just an anomaly. Nope. Both did the same. Although the pictures are blurry be wise on what you buy even though it states it is an official product.

it was obviously too small for my Frigidaire refrigerator. Specifically checked website for my model compatibility which was built in 2015. I didn't even unwrap it as just holding it up to the opening it was way too small. No easy way to return this to Walmart. next time going to amazon or to a store that carries the correct filter like Lowes. costs more but will get a water filter that fits.

I installed the new water filter, flushed out 2 gallons and the water tasted bad. Flushed several more gallons and the water continued to taste bad. Another odd thing is that my fridge made more noises with this filter. Bought a new Frigidaire water filter from a local appliance store and it works perfectly, normal noises and good tasting water. Walmart is making it right by giving me a refund. Thank you.

This filter doesn't work correctly. very low water flow. My refrigerator started making very strange noises. Not worth the savings. i went to a local retailer and got a replacement before it damaged my refrigerator. The new one works fine.

This is clearly a fake item. The packaging looks legit, but the base doesn't line up properly, which was a tip off. After running 6-8 gallons of water through both filter, there was still a horrible taste in the water. I've used several OEM filters from Frigidare and never had this problem. Ordered another from Frigidare and the water tastes fine. Don't know where these came from but I wasted $95 on these products. Tossed them both in the trash.

Part number was correct, but it didn’t fit. Have to return. No more online orders from Walmart.

Does not fit my fridgedaire .returned it to Walmart was refunded only the price without shipping . I am minus $7,44. I will not buy at Walmart again.
