I bought this A/C's (two units) almost month ago, they are working very good especially with heat wave in NY. Happy with purchase! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
After more than a decade of trouble-free service, the through-the-wall AC/heater unit in my study stopped heating (AC continued, but living in upstate NY, the supplemental heat is essential). We replaced it with the Frigidaire FFTH0822U1. Installation was a breeze and it fully exceeds our expectations. This is a wonderful unit. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Haven't used them yet. It's not cold enough for heat and not hot enough for A/C. Ask me in the fall about the A/C and next spring about the heat function.
Powerful AC and well worth it. Haven't had any problems and it cools wonderfully [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this unit. It is giving off nice air. I'm not sure how it does on heat yet since I am in Southern California and it's summer time. I have a small room and it cools it down really quickly. It's not real loud but there is one think I wish it had. I wish it was blue tooth ready. I have anther air conditioner and I can control it with my phone and the app. Since when I got it the remote control was not there. I do like having the remote. I would definately recommend it. I would need to re review this at a later date.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has not really been cold here compared to our normal weather, but we have had some chilly mornings. The heat seems to work and removes tge chill from the room. I've mostly used it to cool the room as temperatures are still somewhat warm to hot. Hopefully the heat settings will work when it's really needed.
I replaced a 12 year old air conditioner/heater from a competitor and was excited for modern features like a remote and digital controls. Those features are great, but the problem I've run into with this (and another Frigidaire model I tried) is that the core features just don't work very well. The temperature in the room never quite gets down to the selected value (ex: temperature hovers at 70 when I have it set to 67), and worse, it does an extremely poor job of dehumidifying the room. I've tried different fan settings and running times, and I'm lucky to get below 60% humidity. In summary, I thought this would be a nice upgrade and it's actually been a pretty significant downgrade.
