legit
Seems legit contrary to other reviews of this vendor, nothing appears suspicious or out of order with this filter. Operationally it's identical including priming it and appears identical to what I've been purchasing on Amazon at twice the price for the last 7 years!

For starters, the filter is less here than the manufacturers website which I LOVE; Super easy to install although the box it came in didn't mention to remove the little plastic covers on the 2 prongs that fit into the hole that you place the filter into. We figured it out though and after running the water for the recommended 3 minutes you're good to go!

Finally, a filter that really works.
This is a product that I have purchased from others and it was never a good experience. There was never a good taste from any of them. This product from walmart works and our water is great again.

Fridgidaire Water Filter
It's the best price I have found for a replacement filter, and it was definitely time to replace as the water flow has improved greatly.

The filter does not work
Filter does not work. After installation and let the water run for more than 5 min as indicated in the instruction, I perform a water test and the water from this filter has the same characteristics of the faucet water, the filter water TDS is 265 while the faucet water TDS is 270. And with a water test strip both water show the same parameters.

I don't think they are genuine filters
I don't think these are genuine, one of them doesn't fit at all. The second that I ordered lasted for maybe a months before it started to taste disgusting. The life is far shorter than what I've typically experienced through genuine filters.

Not authentic
Fraud. It's not authentic. It doesn't fit properly and there's no serial number on it. I tried to report it, but the report page requires the seller information page link that keeps saying invalid. Buying from Walmart third party is a joke.

The parcel languished for multiple days in New York and New Jersey resulting in a couple day delivery delay. Then, finally arrived damaged and unusable. Poor everything experience. Please do better.
