Great Snack Cheese my grandchildren love it, and it is good to cook with as well.
As an amateur cheesemonger, I can confirm: Cheeseheads is love. Cheeseheads is life. Cheeseheads are the GOAT of string cheeses, no other brand of mozz sticks comes close to touching their greatness. The stringiness is unrivaled. It’s so fun %26 addicting to pull apart. The flavor is savory, mildly-tangy perfection. The texture is smooth and never chewy like many other mozz sticks are. I think Frigo should teach these other brands how to make string cheese the right way, but even if the other brands improved, I’d still only buy Cheeseheads.
Full flavor, like you'd expect from high quality fresh mozzarella - pretty surprising, actually - and pulls apart easily. Way better than generic or other name brand string cheese. Costs a little more than generic but well worth it.
These individual sticks are a lifesaver for so many scenarios. Grabbing a quick, protein-packed snack between meetings. Tossing into lunchboxes for the kids (and for myself, because adulting is hard). Taking on a road trip without worrying about a messy block of cheese. They're the epitome of convenience, portability, and guilt-free snacking. Each stick is perfectly portioned, so you don't have to worry about overindulging (unless you open a second... or third... which, let's be honest, happens). I've even found creative uses for them. Sliced up and added to a quick salad. Melted onto a mini pizza. Grated (yes, grated!) over a bowl of chili. While their primary purpose is clearly "snack," their versatility is surprisingly broad. My family, from my cheese-obsessed toddler to my perpetually hungry teenager, absolutely loves these. They're the one snack I know will be consumed without complaint, often with enthusiastic requests for "more stringy cheese!" The fact that they're a good source of protein and calcium is just a bonus for me. So, if you're looking for a convenient, delicious, and fun snack that appeals to all ages, look no further than Frigo Cheese Heads Original Mozzarella String Cheese. They're a classic for a reason, and they'll always have a place in my fridge (and my heart). Here's my cheesy breakdown, in bullet points: Pros: Perfectly Peelable %26 Fun: The satisfying act of peeling the strings is half the enjoyment, making it a fun snack for all ages. Mild %26 Creamy Mozzarella Flavor: A classic, comforting taste that's not too strong, making it universally appealing. Convenient %26 Portion-Controlled: Individually wrapped sticks are ideal for on-the-go snacking, lunches, and quick protein boosts. Cons: Can be highly addictive: You might find yourself reaching for "just one more" more often than you intended. Wrapper Waste: The individual plastic wrappers, while necessary for freshness, do contribute to plastic waste. May not satisfy gourmet cheese cravings: If you're looking for complex flavors and artisanal textures, this isn't it. But it's perfect for what it is!
This cheese is so easy to grab when you're hungry and a few crackers to eat with it. Late at night when maybe I had an early dinner, and I'm hungry at 11:00 p.m., I'll grab one of these sticks along with the stack of crackers and maybe some apple juice. I go right to sleep with a nice warm tummy. This is also good for taking a long trips put it in your ice chest and you have a nice healthy snack that's high protein while you're on the go. Don't forget the crackers!
I was surprised at how good it was. Very very very very very very good I put mine in a couple minutes over but the cheese was still melty. I recommend
This must’ve been a quality control issue. Over half of the packaging has cheese in between the cheese and wrappers causing it to not seal properly... How could this be safe to eat?!?seals are meant to preserve freshness… Not to mention it looks disgusting and I overpaid profusely!!!!
My string cheese is expired. Really unhappy with ny experience tonight.
Items that go in a refrigerator should go into a cooler and be brought up especially cheese meat, milk of that nature there’s only even since I’ve been getting my order one time a person delivering put the cold items in a cooler and I was in shock just wanted to let y’all know if a person that’s making more than one order they should have a cooler for the cold items. Thank you.
string cheese is moldy and discolored
