[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this about a month ago and it's tough to make a true determination on the effectiveness of the Goodbye Cloudy. At the moment, I have a cleaning service that comes out in general, in addition to other cleaning products, that we use for the pool. There is a possibility that it might perform better for those that aren't using a service or other resources to clean their pool. It's packaged as goodbye cloudy and that it polishes water for extra sparkle. I'm not sure how much more “sparkle” was actually there. The water is clear and clean, that for certain, but it's tough to gauge the “sparkle” levels, if that makes sense? I think it's probably a good value for someone that has difficulty maintaining the look of their pool and water. For those that already have a routine, not sure if this would be a suitable replacement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My brother has a smaller above ground pool and swears by this. His pool is always clean and clear. My pool is like an inground apartment pool. It's pretty big and the amount of this I'd need to make it clear is too much. My brother gave me a bag and nothing happened.

I noticed when we first started using it there was like a sheen on top of the water which was a little concerning. It's not overly powerful in smell.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately, It does what it claims. But not as expected. For us it's just way too effective at dissolving debris. We have an 18 x 18 above ground pool. We haven't had any issues keeping it clean all season. It was actually our best year yet..... until we added FROG good bye cloudy. It's mid july. Three days after adding this we now have weird gel globs in the bottom of our pool. Normally we clean it with a vacuum every day and skim the top. But, this chemical breaks down any debris so fast and so small we cannot get it out. I think if we had a big traditional pool with a strong filter it may not be an issue. Above ground pool filters are weaker. It really does look gross now. I regret putting it in our pool. This has actually made our pool care significantly harder. If not impossible. We may try a shop vacuum to get the globs out. But that feels pointless since it lasts 90 days. These globs just dissolve and pass through a regular pool filter or pool vacuum then cloud the entire pool. Settling back at the bottom in gel globs again by the next day. I have only swam twice since adding it. It looks too gross. There is a high chance we will have to drain and refill the pool so we can enjoy it again. By the time this chemical wears off the pool season will be over. I really do not recommend it. It actually will cost us more money to refill our pool now.
