Frogg Toggs Ultra-Lite2 Rain Suit (Men's)

This is my 2nd purchase after 10+ years. This light weight suit has worked flawlessly when needed, of which my wife most often benefitted from. It finally was showing signs of deterioration so I got a replacement set for my truck along with an extra set for my wife. She loves them.

I use my rain suit at work. It's lightweight, easy to get on and off and helps keep you dry.

Good for ultralight backpacking, not noisy, drawstring on hood a nice feature

Nice color, lightweight and reasonable. This hits the mark for a one-time kayak trip to keep the water on the outside.

Very lightweight to wear without being too hot on you. Keeps you good and dry and is very comfortable to wear.

cant wash with laundry soap...my set started coming apart after 4 uses.

There was no option for a SMALL so I ordered a Medium. What I got was an EXTRA LARGE. The jacket MIGHT have been functional (but way too big), but the pant legs were 7 or 8 inches too long. Returned for a refund = Pending - could take 3 weeks! NOTE: This was a "clearance" item so the VENDOR (who shipped the item to me) might have substituted a size that was still in stock.

Steer clear of this model. It has no method by which to tighten the waistband and the elastic is insufficient. It literally lasted me 5 minutes and was ruined on the 6th minute of use. Because there's no way to tighten the waistband and the material is so "ultra-lite," the pants invariably fell below my waist and I could only use one hand to engage in the activity that I was doing. Of course, it's not possible to use only one hand for many activities so I had to use both hands at one point. When I let go of my pants, they immediately fell beneath my waist leaving the crotch closer to my knees. The very second that I knelt down the pants ripped from waistband to waistband through the crotch. Done. How poorly designed is that?! Additionally; there are no pockets or access points to get at the pockets of the clothing that one is wearing underneath the rain suit. Very helpful. If you need to get at your pocket, you have to put your hand inside the waistband...which is no problem due to the aforementioned characteristics. I don't know who designed this suit, but he had his head up his butt during the process. That said; Frogg Toggs does have other rain suit models which are much better then this one. After I sent this one back for a refund I purchased an All Sport Rain Suit. The person that designed the All Sport model wasn't drunk. It's a bit more expensive, but - guess what - it works. Buy that model instead of this one. You won't regret it.
