I've been in the painting business for 40 years. Frog tape is the best masking tape on the market . If used correctly in the appropriate situation, this tape will never let you down. It adheres to just about anything and removal is effortless. If you use this tape on improperly prepared surfaces it will pull off paint- but that's the fault of the prep work not the tape.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First it must be understood that for painting purposes tape will not make you appear to be a professional painter or ensure straight lines with no drip. Even high quality tape s only as good as the person doing the taping. That being said, I have used many different brands in my preparatory work prior to painting as well as shields and various other devices that claim to ensure you will only get paint where you intend, frog tape was the best I have used thus far. The tape performs much better than others I have used and seals tight wherever you place it to ensure paint does not seep under the edges. The tape also has surprising longevity when reusing. I removed pieces and retaped the pieces multiple times and there was no loss in the hold strength, stickiness, and seal. I was very pleased with the tape and this will be my new go to brand for my paint projects.

I tried this tape couple years ago and what I can say about it. It is very important to understand on what kind of surface you are using this tape! I saw a lot of bad reviews about this product, but I am strongly sure that these people just chose the wrong tape for their surface. This blue tape is really good if you using it almost everywhere but if you have Dirt, drops of oil or stain or you just didn't clean surface it doesn't mean that this tape is bad, that's mean that you need to buy another type of tape. Also you can find on this tape information that it has medium Adhesion. As a result choose the right products for the right surfaces. The knowledge is power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This painters tape is awesome. The tape is a little wider than the standard painters tape which made it easier to work with. The tape did a great job with absolutely no bleed through. When I was done with my painting project the tape removed from the wall easily and did not damage the paint underneath. We have also used the tape to put posters on the wall in my kids room and and holds them up with no damage to the wall when you take them down.

The second I started tapping door frames and floors, I noticed its great grip and hold, I didn't even need to double check after applying first paint layer. It perfectly seals and peels off the wall, floor and door frames a day later without leaving any kind of residue nor damage. Great quality and amazing resistance, a must have for any DIY project!

I have used painters tape many times. I did yankee pin stripes on my son's wall. Heard about your frog tape thought it would make the job easier. Unfortunately it took the paint right off the walls, and paint did seep underneath. Ultimate fail!! I always use good quality paints. I used the multi-surface medium adhesion. I'll go back to the normal painters tape after this. Very disappointed
