I live in an apartment and hooks like these are a must if you plan on getting your security deposit back. They are especially nice if you have a surface that you can't nail or drill into like tile or brick. The additional adhesive strip allows the hook to be reused before you have to replace it. I wish the hook was more aesthetically pleasing. It looks very utilitarian and for that reason, it's best suited for closets, garages, pantries, and cupboards where it isn't in plain sight.
