Love this salsa on corn tortillas with cheese and chorizo. Great flavor with a nice little kick. Not too spice, so good for a party. Great with chips and on burritos.
Schnucks and Dierbergs quit selling this and it's my favorite…
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the salsa complimentary from Influenster in exchange for my honest opinion. I'm excited I got to try it and really enjoyed it. The jar was quite sturdy and survived mailing. As for flavor, it was not overpowering with either tomato or jalapeño. Yet, had just the right amount of heat! It had a refreshing flavor and was certainly one I could not get enough of! It made a great snack and I'd love to use it in a meal. I'm excited to try their other varieties as a result and would definitely reach for it the next time I buy salsa!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The flavor and consistency of this salsa is so bomb! I ate this with lime cactus chips & I ate half the jar. Repurchasing! The wide opening of the jar makes it easy to clean the jar out.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time trying this and it's super delicious. I bought some tortilla chips and ate them just like that. I also made enchilada and used this as my salsa. Super delicious!! 10/10. Definitely would purchase this again. It has the right amount of spicyness in the salsa and has tomato chunks.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The flavors in the salsa are bright and have good taste, garlic flavor was present and pleasant, but I found the salsa itself a little salty. If paired with a less salty chip, I think it would have come across better.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this salsa but it does not stand out. The price is good and would get it again. I like the chunky texture and it's scoopable in a chip. The packaging is nice and attractive
I've bought Frontera salsas in the past and gave this one a try. Flavor is very good but it was so water, calling it a salsa is impossible, as was getting any on a chip. After straining a 16oz container, at least half was liquid. Again, love the flavor but the value/quality isn't there to justify the cost if I have to strain out 30-40% of the liquid to make it usable.
I bought several jars of this salsa and all were extremely watery! So watery it could be sold as Jalapeno Cilantro water. Terrible that Rick Bayless' creations were .acquired by a company that stretches the bottom line by charging customers to pay for extra water
The recipe has changed recently. It's now watered down, less chuncky, doesn't taste as good because of this, and the spiciness has increased, so I don't think it's a medium anymore, I'd consider this hot. Don't like it. Its like they increased the spiciness to make up for watering it down? Idk. This used to be my favorite 5/5 star salsa. I'm very disappointed and will now have to find something new :(
